So I put up a website that is hosting a stats calculator. It basically connects to the servers at 2 AM PST and will download the log files since its last connection (if its the first time then it will download all the logs you have - which won't take long). Once it has the logs it will go through them and sort out all the kills / flag caps / flags captured etc... and it presents it in a table that you can search and look up each others stats.

As of now these stats reflect the following servers:
XM
Dreamliner
HD
GHAD
Teamless
DGF
Happy Helmet
NastyVag/Angry Face
LAB/h2k
EVC
KS

*others have committed but have not yet sent me the FTP info.

*If you would like to add your server to be included in with these stats please PM me. I will need your Server FTP info and then everything will be done automatically.

**You can still delete the logs as you normally would. The website connects once a day at 2 AM PST to make sure it doesn't lag any of you while you 12 man/scrim/etc..Although it only takes a minute for it to collect them. Just please leave the last days worth of log files on the server.


**ALSO**
I was thinking of doing another stats set separate of these stats that will solely include stats from TPG Matches (TPG 6v6, TPG 3v3, Draft, TPG Classic). The catch is I will need server owners to send me the Log File of each match. So you would have to connect yourself, download it, upload it to me/link me. If you do not want to do that, that is fine, I just thought it would be cool to see how people perform only in matches. That way we can see who cracks under pressure..cough cough. BUT I would like as many people to do it if you are interested, it won't be fun for only 2 teams or w.e.

i'm assuming that match stats aren't included seeing as vertex, d-bo, and hobbler are #2 #3 and #4?

Not gonna lie, as mad as i was at you, this is fricken awesome. very nicely done, makes me want to 12man that much more. Hopefully nugz will send our sever info as we 12man alot on it. Really nice work major +rep.

it keeps track of steam id's/ player IP and all the names you use all together

W.e. logs we had (mostly people just had the past month) so is composed of 12 mans/scrims/and some matches.

Any idea what you plan to do with the live server views? would be awesome if we could see 12mans going on in each of the servers or something.

If we do another draft or something like it, you could use something like this to help keep the teams balanced. Or some nerd could make some sort of "Pick Em" challenge, and code it to interact with this website and it would assign players a "Salary" value based off of their skill level, using that the pickers could choose a certain number of the players for the week while staying under the salary cap. See who can make the best team with their salary.

agreed. matches would be the best bet on this.

this could lead to extremely gay play in 12mans :OR: could lead to gameplay more and more like a match.

or it could do nothing at all... lol.

That would be up to each server owner if they would like to be put on there or not. I'm also having a prob with it querying any servers right now, prob a firewall issue but I'll have to play around with it.

I also configured the "awards" part. This thing would be excellent for matches...IF you guys can commit to getting me the server logs for match nights!

Awards are set to weekly awards, but it will calculate them as the week goes on. Week starts sunday and goes to saturday.

It uses the name you use most on the servers, however i can set it to use something else like just Daeo and lock that in.

If any of you want to change your name just pm me the name u want (preferably not aliased so we know who you are without going into your profile)

I'm fine with the name setting as is, i normally dont alias so its not a big deal for me . Just wanted to make sure i can change my name and still get stats recorded.

LOL, i have to agree, stats are what make people get upset about dying and whatnot. I think its cool, but not looking forward to people being more serious in 12mans and scrims.

just put it this way, the better you play in 12mans and scrims, the better you will be in matches. I think its good to get people playing serious, i mean we should have a no prone rule in effect. First time offenders get a warning, 2nd time is a kick, 3rd + is up to xm admins

Proning is a part of the game and used in matches i get that, but when you are prone in every other corner not only does it ruin the game experience for the other team, your team is getting no use out of you. I don't care really it just is an idea

I would propose that you have to maintain top flag caps on chemille from here on out.

I believe so. In each player profile it keeps your tk percentage.
