Map Page Mockup

This is just a mock up right now (none of these stats are real) and the layout will be tweaked to look nicer, but is there anything else you can think of that I should put on a page with details about a map other than what you see here? It would have to be something I have access to in the database or something I could easily upload though. For example there are no stats in the database, so I can't put something like kills with various weapons.

Also, this page will probably be released at some point this week.

I think adding the pictures to show what spots are illegal is a great idea. The whole page looks very smooth (in my opinion). But I've always wondered, why is that roof illegal? You don't need any help getting there and can't see anywhere on the map from it.

Because when you get gayed in the back from up there it makes you want to beat your significant other or child. Seeing as a large portion of the community now has wives / kids, let's just leave it illegal.

Can you add like statistcs of the teams who won the most at a given map? I know nothing of programming and I really don't know if it's difficult or not but I just thought on this being a cool thing to display since the match results have always two teams sharing a given result. Other than that, awesome work, Bullet!

the fact that it is illegal i thought was it was possible to prone on top and noone can see you from the bottom.

Joshinator was actually suspended for that spot this season. It's sad cause all that happened was he got a kill and died, the people not even playing in the match disputed him... not to mention he was playing as an ally which negates the fact that you can see into radio from there.

if two guys get in the roof and boost the guy on the top can overlook into the radio room entrance. some admins followed an old cal rule and thought this movie standing for a unfair advantage to the axis side. my personal opinion is that having two AXIS in there is something so impossible to think that it really should reward them with that but that's just me :)

Just an FYI, there won't be pictures of places where it takes 2 people to get to, since that is covered by the no boosting rule. It will just be pictures of places like the one on chemille, or say the anzio bridge ledge via the ladder glitch.

I could do that, but the names of teams change and rosters change some much to the point where I don't feel it would really be that meaningful. For example Happy Helmet was once BIO. BIO formed a new team in TPG and the old BIO team was renamed Happy Helmet. It is stuff like this that I feel would make that particular statistic not very useful.

The page is not done yet, but it is dynamic now:
http://www.tpgleague.org/dod6/map/dod_anzio/

Most of the map pages do not have overview images, config downloads, or exploit images yet. They also do not have average and max scores for each side (Axis and Allies). I have to figure that SQL out first. Right not it just shows average and max home and away scores, because that was easy to calculate. Consider that a temporary placeholder.

Is it legal to boost someone into double window on rr2? People have always explained it to me is if you can get to it by yourself, it's okay to boost there as a shortcut. Obviously excluding exploit spots you can get to by yourself.

The page is near complete:
http://www.tpgleague.org/dod6/map/dod_anzio/

The only two things I have left to do are to link the map names on the site to go to this page (you can replace the name of the map in the URL for now if you are interested) and I'm going to link out to the match where the max axis and the max allies scores occurred respectively.

It should be neat to look at average allies and average axis scores to get an idea of how balanced each map is.

Welcome to the most balanced map in TPG:
http://www.tpgleague.org/dod6/map/dod_lennon_b2/

Anyway if anyone has a better image editing software than mspaint and wishes to turn that bright green into a transparency color I would appreciate. I think it would look a lot better on the site. There are couple of overviews like that.

Thanks Tin Bad. I appreciate it. I'll get these uploaded some time when I'm sober enough to work an FTP client lol.

It says right in the disclaimer above the images "Other areas may still exist that you are not permitted to use"

If you have any questions please file a support ticket or contact a league admin. I can always add more images if more areas turn up that I was not aware of.
