Alright guys. I have an iPhone 4s, and im thinking of getting the Galaxy S3. Have any of you used both? Those of you who use the S3, how do you like it? What do you all think is better? Lets hear it.

I use a Galaxy S3. And I won't post the substantial difference here (there are PLENTY) coz in the end you're gonna pick the one you liked the most over all possible arguments that will be post here hehe. Both of the smartphones are superb choices though. Good luck.

Galaxy S3 < Galaxy Note

Bigger screen = You can watch movies(*host* porn *host*) without having trouble, I have watch movies on a iPhone 4s and my Galaxy Note, the difference is like day and night

I have drop my Galaxy Note a few times, but no damage on my screen so far

wasn't there a lawsuit between samsung and apple? Apple claimed samsung stole all the designs and patented technology. Apple won the court case. Based on if this is true, Id say samsung is better because they took all of apples technology and advanced it enough to make Apple sue.

To all seriousness, I would suggest the Galaxy S3. It has a better life and replaceable battery unlike the Iphone, but the durability of the Iphone 5 is slightly better. As for specs and IOS, I would say Galaxy S3 wins there as well. The android market is also a plus~

Galaxy S3 simply because Android has surpassed iOS, you don't have to deal with iTunes, and you can run customized flavors (ROMs) of the OS.

Apple is suing all Android phone manufacturers for whatever they can. The court case you're referring to had to deal with the build design and UI overlay that Samsung was using with many of their older phone models. The case is being appealed by Samsung, the jury foreman showed himself to have had an agenda through various interviews post-trial, and Judge Koh is having Apple make some of their private financial records public.

Many of Apple's software patents are being invalidated due to prior art, the most recent being the 'bounce back' feature when hitting the end of a page. Their "slide to unlock" patent won't really hold much for them any longer. Google, however, should have fun with Apple once the notification pulldown patent is granted to them.

Truth be told, just sit tight where you are at right now. I still use my iPhone 4 just fine. What you want to wait for is Samsung to release a display in their phone that competes with the iPhone. HTC has a 1080p 5" screen on the way and Samsung is bound to release their Galaxy S4 with a quality display.

My iPhone 4 does all I need it to for me personally and I find an upgrade (even at $200) a waste of money.

After we decide on this can someone help me figure out if I should buy a Ford or Chevy? Should I drink Coke or Pepsi?

It's all subjective. But I would get the S3.

ROMs are modified versions of the OS, whether built from stock Android source or based off the source code provided by the phone's manufacturer. Various tweaks/enhancements/features are added/stripped to provide better performance. Each ROM is different based on those changes and the color scheme given. There's a hell of a lot more customization available with Android than iOS.

While a jab at Jason.. it's a pretty poor one to make. Those who don't keep up with technology are often being phased out in the workplace. Technology will evolve quicker and quicker as time goes on, and keeping up with it is in everyone's interest.
