Self destructive and anti social behavior is a prominent theme in many rock and roll legends.
That shit is often synonymous.
From Jerry Lee Lewis to Elvis to Jimmi Hendix, Joplin, Syd and Nancy, Kurt Kobain etc.
I can totally understand how the exhibitions of these and many more performers in the long tragic history of Rock music can be regarded as ugly, sad , and pitiful.
But I reserve my scorn and derision from the few that decided to do whatever it is they are doing as hard and as completely as all that.
Mental illness is a fascinating and integral element to much of rock and roll's history, present, and presumable future.

Right, its the person, not the origin of the music. Plenty of rock and roll stars weren't acting like this(siting the naked dude), and for good reason. Lots of these people need help, either with mental issues, or drugs, or both.

While these acts are tied to rock and roll, its only because they did it in front of crowds, for attention, during a concert.
