Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge with monitoring users on my networks website viewings? I am having an on going battle of where all my bandwidth is going and the company I use caps out at 150 GB/Month and we are consistently going over. Obviously everyone is dishonest about what they are using and no one is fessing up to the usage. If there are any programs anyone could recommend I would greatly appreciate it. I have searched through google looking for something but I dont like using random programs very much.

I'm sure there's software out there. Most mid-level routers have this functionality built in. As far as software goes... I'm sure theres some out there. I've only used software to analyze traffic coming in and out, not to see the actual bandwidth being used. You can give spiceworks a try: http://www.spiceworks.com/it-articles/n ... h-monitor/

Here's a screen cap of mine

You can actually set a bandwidth cap in my router, however it doesn't show you which LAN user is using what.

You can setup bandwidth profiles and manually assign static addresses in the DHCP table, then assign each user to their respective bandwidth profile.
