I have a question maybe you got an answer to it. How do i get rid of the black stripes on hltv demos since the new update ?

Set to 1 to hide panels such as the spectator menu from the capture (You will see the panels on screen but they will be hidden from the captured images).

Exactly! It's the best way anyway! Fraps saves so much time but the quality is a lot worse. Higher quality is always a plus!

Yeah I know it gives you high quality but its just a huge ammount of diskspace which is needed and time of course. I was always doing it with the xfire recorder and i slowed the demo down by half so I could get out a really nice quality.
