1911 Beta

None of my games are fun anymore and feel like a chore to play them. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy. I'll try any free suggestion and will spend up to $20 if the game looks really good.

Dota 2 is fun if you have a full group of people to play with and the patience to learn the game

Playing a ton of dod and no dota, pretty much. Getting trolled by awful teammates in the worst MMR system ever

if you want something different ... try world of tanks ... its multiplayer and can be addictive .... i know i am hooked again on it after not playing WoT for a year and a half ..... got some sweet tanks now and can do damage but also have fun as well depending on who platoon with some can be bad and some can be great

Tried it once, never been so frustrated. People with good tanks just 1shot you..

What kind of games?

Strategy: shogun 2, Hearts of Iron 3(get the expansions if you like it), Victoria 2.
Open world sandbox GTA clones: Sleeping dogs.
Sports: NHL, FIFA or whatever sport you like, if you're in to football, and dont want to play fifa on pc, get football manager.
RTS: Skyrim, Dishonored(guess that counts as RTS).
3rd person shooters/adventures: Assassins creed, Hitman.
FPS: Red orchestra 2.

So I am the only one who is still playing 90s games?
I always figured this was normal, because dod is also 10+ years old and you all play it. Or maybe I am just being forced by cirumstances (like my laptop crashing and smelling like fire when I run gta4 for 20+ mins)


My 16 bit sega get's more gametime than my ps2 (my newest console).
And occasionally I play on my gameboy (the grey one with 4 x AA). Great fun.
Finding opponents is a pain though. Always complaining about graphics.

If I was bored I would buy a super nintendo with some good classics. No joke.

Portal 2 Co-op is a lot of fun. Download custom maps and play with someone.

Hey look, another nerd. I still play a lot of Nintendo and Super Nintendo. And if I want to play a shooter, I'll usually play Half-Life or the early Quake and Doom games. Old ass games ftw.

Do you play multiplayer? I'm still on that from time to time, hit me up if you wanna play it sometime.

Been playing some d3 hardcore lately and it's been fun. Probably will get boring in another week or so.

The drake series is awesome.

For some reason the older I get I just kept finish games anymore. Those moments when I come home tired I'd rather just fire up Netflix.

All of the Total War games are amazing. Rome: Total War is probably the most alive, and probably the oldest. I remember there were few leagues I played in for that game. Also I'm sure you've played the Elder Scrolls series, but Oblivion and Morrowind are great games to get into. Garry's Mod has a huge community it's basically a mod of a mod. Bunch of servers/gamemodes. There is rp, build, ttt (trouble in terrorist town), etc.

Borderlands2 4 player co-op is fun and rewarding. Borderlands ppl like it.
I tryed a little of Borderlands after BL2 but couldn't mod it to look the same (I removed the black outlines and cell shading in BL2).
Its casual good for 20-40 hours. If you dig it furthur theres more dlc for it.
Some of my hardcore bl2 peeps moved on to defiance. Thats a bit more involved for me, but it has something they like.

I play a bunch of starcraft 2 but the learning curve is quite high, it's fun when you get decent at it though.

Finally starting to really get into DOTA... still a huge noob though. And I do play SC2 occasionally as well, used to be fairly decent at the game then I just stopped playing completely a few months before HotS came out. Still getting used to the new units

Payday 2 looks fun. 1st one was a blast to play with 3 other people. Give it a look coming out sometime in august for 30 bucks.

I just got Devil May Cry and Alan Wake since they were on sale. DMC is single player only and the storyline is quite good. I didn't try Alan Wake yet.

Alan wake was decent, definitely worth a try. It's pretty scary at the beginning but later on it feels kind of dull..

I just got Alan Rumpf on sale

I bought this game the other day and it's fucking awesome.

Great great puzzle game. I feel guilty as to way it caught my eye though...
