§7.7 Cheating Outside of TPG
Player demos submitted to TPG and reviewed are subject to the same rule restrictions as if played in a TPG match. This includes, but is not limited to, cheating, wall hacking, and map exploiting. Players will be held to the same violation standards as those listed previously.

§8 Disclaimer
TPG admins reserve the right to make independent judgement calls for any rule as necessary. These judgement calls, if made, will supersede any current rules listed above.

I have no problem with you so don't take this as a flame, but that doesn't sound right. When steam emails me about steam guard, it gives me a code to put in to be able to access my account from another computer. My theory is you cheated at whatever game you were playing and are ashamed to admit it. I did the same thing, cheated in CS 1.6 many years ago and got VAC banned a few days later. It sucks, life goes on!

untrue, i only play day of defeat. i admit that 100%. its the only game ive played since 2010 execept for dota2, i played 2 hours. so no, i cant and wont admit anything, i work 60 hours a week and game in my free time to unwind. and its all dod 1.3

oh and i put the code into my iphone at work, got busy with patients, then went come and emailed ppl i knew to ask them for advice, put the code it and logged into my account. so beyond that, im hoping for other answers

also vac doesn't ban right away.

you and dus got it wrong, i meant i knew he was cheating when his demos got submitted, as in - i knew something was wrong as we were all in vent talking about it, not sure what crafty understood lol.

we asked him if he was cheating before he got banned and he lied to us - i don't support cheaters in any way or form and if someone is caught they can go f off...

Also, here in this community you can't say anything to anyone cause it all gets twisted and misinterpreted, now it turns out i knew siz was cheating but didn't do anything? What I actually meant is that I had my doubts about him before he got caught! pfffft lol

Just like I'm gonna say about the person that the thread is about - I knew he was cheating - and glad he got vac'ed

It's my opinion Josh same as everyone else is entitled to an opinion, or think that others cheat. I don't expect anyone to agree with me though, so no worries

You got the tickets filed with valve and have a pretty good chance of getting the ip's of who got on your steam account while you were gone.
I'd still hold out for the possibility that you can get the account cleared, however slim it may be.

I work a 56 hours a week job and have a family to spend time with, personally I only managed a meagre 26 hours of dod in the last 2 weeks lol, this guy must be Dr Who the timelord or something

i leave my dod open pretty much all the time, thats why its over 6000 hours or maybe 8000... back in the good ol FURY days i left it in that server for weeks at a time. why even bother close it? its the best game in the world

so what does a VAC ban actually do?

so far, when i finally logged back into my account after having to request 3 codes, it said something about getting vac'ed for counter strike delete scenes??? the following games are affected: dod, hl, a few other random ones. most of my games are newer and i can still play, although not dod, which is the only game i ever touch. knowing that SSW i use to watch and dispute cheaters is not vac detected, nor have i ever jumped into a scrim or 12 man with it on, i have no idea what other sort of cheat could of been used to get banned from deleted scenes. im still waiting on my ticket, probably going to have to wait at least until monday... ill keep ppl posted...

every single time i log into that account, i need to put a code in to let me inside as of today. also my gmail account pw was changed and it took me 20 mins to get that back. gmail staff told me my pc might be compromised with spyware, doing a reformat tomorrow

Steam Support cannot remove the ban on your account

Regardless of who was using your account at the time it was banned, the use and security of your Steam account is your responsibility.

It doesn't allow you to play in a VAC secured server with others. You can still play the game, but multiplayer is going to be severely limited to a handful of non-secure servers.

If anyone watches Jakimo play you might laugh as hard as me. You can tell he's high cause people are constantly running past him and his reaction time is non-existent. There is a reason why he only snipes lol. So bad with guns u have to point and shoot with.

Jak, I am very happy to say you no longer have to take it as a compliment, it became reality now (perhaps the reason I thought you were cheating on some dodgy shots you made, was exactly the one you mentioned yourself - that you are indeed pretty bad and before anyone jumps, I only said he is bad, not that I am good)

Did you take a screenshot to show us all? About VAC saying you got banned for playing CS deleted scenes? Or were you so nervous you forgot to? I'll believe it when I see it, promise

PS: Also, surely if someone played that game from your account, it would show on your recently played games list, but I can only see Day of Defeat there

He can do this at any time, you actually have no idea what you're talking about do you? And it will not say "deleted scenes" It will bring up a list of all games that use the HL1 engine because they share vac bans.

Does VAC universally run in the background of any Valve game, whether it be a single player game, multiplayer, HL1 engine, source engine, etc.? Or does it just check when you try to join a multiplayer server that has VAC enabled? CS:CZ Deleted Scenes isn't a multiplayer game from what I remember. CS:CZ is, but Deleted Scenes is a separate install and is some crappy single player game lol. Can VAC ban you with cheats turned on during a single player campaign, whether it be Deleted Scenes or HL1 campaign, HL2, Portal, etc.?

VAC only affects multiplayer servers that have VAC enabled. Single player games and games played on non VAC enabled servers are not. VAC bans affect the host of games under that specific engine (ie. a ban in CS 1.6 would affect HL1, DoD, etc. A ban in CoD 4 would only affect CoD 4)

So what your saying is your shit has never been hacked before? I have lost a Steam account in the past aswell as a Origin account.

So what your saying is your shit has never been hacked before? I have lost a Steam account in the past aswell as a Origin account.

Even if his account did get hacked, Valve will never remove a ban on an account unless it was an error/bug/glitch caused by VAC. If that was the case, there would be threads all over the Steam forums asking the same thing for a particular game. If your account got compromised, too bad. Valve won't shed a single tear and just move along, stating that account security is the owners responsibility.

Even if Jakimo did cheat, I still like him better than that Ana cunt.
