It's being released prior to TI3 in August.

I've been playing a lot with nugz and shakeandbake lately. I only really know how to play 2 heroes, huskar and drow ranger. What are some other easier heroes to learn?

For some reason Nightstalker has been pretty damn easy for me to learn and is actually one of my best chars at this point, same with the Warlock in a support roll. Played a game or two of LoL last night, just doesn't feel right after playing DOTA as much as I have been

It's Night Stalker not hunter and his play style really isn't that great for new players.

Try Lich, Crystal Maiden, Vengeful Spirit, Tide Hunter, or Ogre Magi.

I random pretty much every time im able to. Good way to learn characters as well as see what works best for you. Plus its always nice to know what your enemies skills are so you can play accordingly.

Guilds have now gone live in Dota 2. I have made a 1911 one and have sent out invites to everyone on my friends list that also plays a little dota that I could remember. If you are not on my friends list post here and add me on steam or Miller can also invite you.

Any hero with good survivability. I would recommend Tidehunter and Windrunner as good support/teamfighters to learn that are easy to stay alive with.

Been playing with Zeus, he seems to not be that bad.

If you are having trouble getting last hits, Zeus and Sniper are nice but squishy. I learned on Tidehunter and Sniper, who are two very different chars so that helped. Would also reccomend Axe.

zeus and sniper are actually very hard to last hit with auto attacks at early levels

The 2nd and 3rd tutorials are being added to Dota 2 today along with the Limited Hero matchmaking Feature between bots and other new players. If you wanted to learn Dota 2 using these features is probably the best place to start.

They claim it's around the same level, but it's completely broken.

How often do they release new heroes in this game?

The few times I play LOL its really confusing, cause there is always 10 new heroes.

Has to do with your skill level, not your DOTA level. Some people play all day and are level 300, but suck at the game (like me). Also, I have a compendium so played with a 225% bonus for the last two months and my levels skyrocketed.

Granted, you will not play with a level 50 player if you are level 1, but you may play with a level 7 or 8 if you've played well your first couple of games and show you're not completely new.

How often do they release new heroes in this game?

Maybe once every three months or so is the trend lately. They are releasing one today or tomorrow after finally going out of beta, but it's the first since around April.

List of people who I know play, played briefly or are interested in playing, new and experienced. Lets try to get a 10man or two going. There is enough experienced players to make up for the newer ones in a team setting and it could also help them learn faster than pubbing.
