Alright, so i bought a new laptop, and when trying to launch dod it seems my resolution is "far right", as in i can't see the text
on the left side, create server, multiplayer, options etc.

If i add -windowed in launch options however, then i can see all the text when maximizing the window, but then i can't look around instead.

Might add if i change video options from windowed mode, it just reverts back to the "far right" resolution thingy.

Windows 8, Nvidia 750 GT, newest nvidia drivers.

You're sure your in game resolution is set to a resolution with proper aspect ratio?

Try adding: -strechaspect to your launch options and see what happens

Nope, didn't help.

I had a similar problem to this when the update came out, I just used -nofbo and it went to fullscreen.

I had large icons set in windows, set it to normal and it helped, that's kinda weird.
