So i have a random question about Amazon. Googling isn't really working out so well. Question is, if you log into an Amazon account from a different country, does it lock the account out? Example: My fiancée was given the information for a Brazilian Amazon account, would her logging into it from the US set off some kind of security measure and lock the account out?

I don't think so.

I logged into my amazon account from the Netherlands/Germany and didn't have any issues, however I didn't try to order anything.

Well she did place an order, and afterwards is when we started having trouble accessing the account.

Makes sense, considering that most people have their shipping address and credit card info saved on amazon.

If it's your/her account I imagine they would email you a notification mentioning an unusual log in and provide you with some links to clear everything up.

If it's not your account I would abort asap

I told my fiancee we would be lucky to get any response other than GIFs, glad you guys did not disappoint. Thanks for the few serious answers though.

The account does not belong to either one of us, but she was given the info by the Brazilian account owner. He's offline atm so I'm just trying to figure out if he's fucking us or if we just got securipwned.
