Nice, this looks to be a really interesting development. Come tune in to FURY vent when the announcement is made, and I'll be shoutcasting the updates as they come LIVE, with special guest Gabe Newell!

1st announcement has intrigued me. Now curious to see what weds announcement will be. Obviously going to be something to do with hardware/Streaming device for the os.

steam os sounds cool but why would i want it if i already run steam on my computers' current oses? does it actually function as a real linux distro os or is the interface strictly meant for TV steam related stuff, the same way a console's os/firmware is more specialized? if that's the case i don't see what the big deal is as i'm not going to be setting up all these custom tv rigs. it would be like if sony or ms made their console's oses free to use. like, so what lol. who cares. too specialized for it to matter.
