col demoplayer help

soooooo, col demo player says my dod isnt installed anymore? I"m assuming it has to do with the update that i missed. Is there a quick solution to this?
this is the msg im getting :
"The game "Day of Defeat" doesn't seem to be installed.
Game folder "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\day of defeat\dod" doesn't exist.
Check that the correct Steam account is selected in Options\Preferences."
