TPG Preseason 34 Tournament

TPG will be hosting a Preseason Tournament before we start Season 34. This tournament will be similar to a TPG Cup however instead of drafting teams, you sign up with the rest of your regular TPG 6v6 Team.
Depending on the amount of teams that sign up, we may do 2 brackets, an upper and lower. It will be a one night tournament on Sunday
March 30th so please be prepared to play as few as 1 match and as many as 3 matches. There is no rescheduling! First round is at 9 pm est, Semis at 10 pm est, and Finals at 11 pm est. You cannot use a ringer if a team member is available, this is for fun, winning isn't everything. The minimum number of teams needed is 8, if we don't reach it, the tournament will scrapped.
To sign up simply
open a support ticket letting us know your team would like to participate and you will be moved to the appropriate bracket.
SIGN-UPS ARE NOW OPEN!
Map list will be based off of a vote (aka top 3 maps will be played):
Quarters - TBD
Semis - TBD
Finals - TBD
Vote for the maps here
This Tournament is open to all players except those currently suspended for cheating and those suspended in the 6v6 League.
*TPG Rules apply. Demos and SS are necessary. Disputes will not be handled until after the tournament is over.
**Ringers are allowed, but the opposing team must OK the player(s).

How is a team with milo, kaboom, paintball, poizoned, and shogun placed in the lower bracket? That team could easily beat 6 of the 8 teams in the upper bracket haha

why not just play 3 matches in rnd 1 for lower bracket? no point in having a bye in a 6 team bracket. and/or move up the shogon/paintball team to upper bracket and don't have a bye in upper.
