my desk, (which I still haven't found one better) is ikea too. I love the multiple levels cause I always had a laptop for work and I prefer dual monitors stacked vertically. Ton of space, small footprint. Ikea is the shit.wintehs wrote:Looks like I'll be taking a trip down to Schaumburg sooner than I thought. How i used to work. After that i can't sit infront of less than one monitor without getting panic were to put all my tabs/windows.
Don't get more than 3 monitors, it will ruin your life.
Picked up two dressers, two nightstands, and a lamp from there for around $320 after I moved to Madison. Still a lot I want and need to get for my new place. Love Slumberland too... got a queen size pillow top bed, couch, and chair (all comfy as fuck) for $1,500 after taxes. Shopping for furniture is my equivalent of clothing shopping for women.tenks wrote:my desk, (which I still haven't found one better) is ikea too. Heads up though Sears... if you decide to buy it, it's pretty big. If you need help moving it in to your place, let me know. I think we can get it in through that back window. What do you think?
