Apple Iphone

Well I haven't updated my phone since before IOS 6, now hearing good reviews about the newest IOS 7 update persuaded me to update.
I deleted all pictures and apps and still don't have enough space to update. I was told that before IOS 7, apple was having issues with the phone storing information regardless of deletion or not. So is the only way to fix this to restore the entire phone..?

Settings > safari > clear cookies and data. That might help. Try clearing all the caches on apps if that's possible

Also delete your emails then go into trash can and re delete them if this hasn't been done

I'm thinking about getting the s5. I currently have the Iphone 4s.

I heard the galaxy crashes A LOT tho. Which version do you have/have you ever had an Iphone and are able to compare the 2 for me?

Love my Moto X, didn't get it all custom designed or anything, but it's the slickest and snappiest phone I've had to date. Only downside was when I smashed it at a Dropkick Murphy's concert last month, replaced it since then.

I read somewhere that google wasn't making any new nexus phones anymore/phasing out its mobile phones division. Idk if its true or not.

Google owns Motorola. So Google will still have phones. But yeah, they stated Nexus 5 will be the last one. I'm just going to assume Motorola will pick it up instead, or something similar.

But, if i'd have to recommend a phone for you, i'd say Nexus 5. My Nexus phones are the best i've had.

If I remember correctly, Google sold Motorola to Lenovo for 2.something billion sometime in January of this year.

i went from the iphone 4s, and i switched to a galaxy s3, which i loved. i didn't have problems with it crashing, and it held up very very well considering i dropped it a SHIT TON and my apartment has wood floors. it eventually broke after a drop though.

i really liked the galaxy phone over iphone. not that iphone wasn't good, it is just a preference of android over ios. both phones are powerful and can do a lot. but for what i did most, which is text, watch videos, read sports news, and play fantasy sports, it was much better. it has a bigger, more beautiful, and more vibrant screen than the iphone and it is also in 1080 pm resolution. iphone felt very restricted as far as customizing the user interface but also in genera. you can customize the android way more to your liking. galaxy s also had some cool features that the iphone doesn't have.

there is my 2 cents but i am by no means a phone guru.

Can't you just update via iTunes instead of only doing it on the phone? I think if you do it that way it eliminates the "space requirement"
