I thought this was pretty interesting...After all this time J.Wendel still holding it down for America at #2 and he's been retired for years.
Also 11 of the top 20 earners are Dota 2 players. And it's only going to increase. I bet the first person to hit $1mill will be a dota 2 player. LoL doesnt even crack top 25...

I wonder why StarCraft, Dota and LoL have so many viewers and huge prizes in big tournaments. All 3 are so boring to watch and play lol

That percent represents how much of their total winnings was won from their strongest/best game (anything over 50%).
Ex. Fatality played AVP2, Painkiller, Quake etc etc. But 53% of his winnings came from Painkiller.
Also, I wanted to point out that's what makes him a beast. Like you said most of the newer entries are dota2 players but they're cashing in with one big tournie win with a team. As I'm sure you already know Wendel was good at 5-6 games over multiple years, by himself. y

Mogers and I watched Fatal1ty twitch on TitanFall release night. He's gotten kinda chunky and it's pretty shitty at TF. He apparently lives in some swanky Manhattan apartment doe, so he's got that going for him.
Assuming he still drives around that sweet Ford Focus with the green flames.

Since when is StarCraft boring to watch o-o. I admit it's a lot more boring to play than brood war. I don't understand why people play LoL, most boring game I've ever played or watched. So much more baby 'd down than DotA.

personally i find SC2 very fun to watch, I'm normally watching some recent pro match with lunch at work. And I don't even play much these days, it's just really fun to watch evolving metagames and high level play

When I was in college and not playing games I'd still watch, and it was almost exclusively SC2, with a little bit of HON if Chu had monster games. Dota 2 is really awesome to watch as well, even though I stopped playing it a couple months ago. LoL seems like it's not optimized for competition imo because it's too casual-friendly.

Not to sound like that guy, but my good buddy hangs out with him on the regular. I guess they're working with X-fire on some business and my buddy is helping him out on the technical side. He showed me some pics of them when they were in Vegas and yes, he's defiantly gained some major lbs. But yea he's rolling in cash from his branded pc parts still. And he has a fat apartment in Vegas not NY
Also, for those that dont think or understand why Dota (cant speak for LoL, never played or seen it!) is fun to watch, maybe you just haven't seen good players play?

p.s I forgot to mention that who the casters are makes a huge difference to my enjoyment when watching sc2. It's a game with usually some 'down time' at the start. Unless there are entertaining/funny casters it can get boring

I've always enjoyed watching SC2, especially when I was playing it religiously a few years back. Still play occasionally now, but haven't much since a few months before the xpac dropped. DOTA streams can be pretty damn good too.
