There is a tutorial mode (i think) and you can play against computer AI. I suggest you doing that just a couple times so your familiar with the mechanics of the game, then jump right into some Normal games and prepare for a few ass beatings until you get the hang of it.

Yeah I just went through the new user guide and I think I have a semi-understanding of it. Time to let the computer rape me

I don't really play much though, I get furious at the tutorials for poping up windows all the time and I don't want to play against real players and get sharted on.

You can probably just jump right in James, when I started playing LoL I'd only played 8 games of HoN. If you've done all the tutorials and practiced then you're miles ahead of where I was.
