Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I was gone all weekend.

I don't know what's gonna happen, almost my entire team is unaware of the anti-cheat client, and yet again I will have to show 15 ppl who only play dod on Sundays how to install and run it, something of which I don't even fully know. I don't think there is a whole lot of cheating going on in matches anyways so the whole thing seems kinda pointless but I do appreciate TPG's efforts.

I personally might not even be playing so I will do my best to field 6. I highly doubt I will have 6 on and ready at 8, but I'll do the best I can.

It's not entirely your fault we didn't get to play but I'm starting to wonder if staying up till this time of night, making sure I have 6 players on who are all up to date with the new AC isn't just a huge waste of time when seemingly everyone else who signs up to this league isn't even interested in playing on the one night a week we actually play officials.

It's 1:30am and I might just be a little cranky.

Nah, it's cool. I realise at this point in time hardly anyone cares it's just frustrating because of the time difference more than anything. Gl all those who managed to play.

Myself and Nicholson were gone, (hes A captain), and a list of others aswell. LOL last week I had 11 players show up, this week 3

Honestly, a lot of my "I barely play dod at all" players were put off by this client considering they ONLY play dod on Sundays, have never cheated in their lives, and barely even go positive when they DO play, yet are forced to use a potentially dangerous client. That, added with absences due to it being a summer season, I just couldn't get 6 on.

I'm cool with a re-schedule anytime, having the match played will benefit us both. But if you choose to FF us, no hard feelings, and we earned it anyways.

It's cool we will try to play this Sunday coming, just a heads up though it's a break week for Fathers day so it might be an idea to have people commit ahead of time rather than springing the game on them on Sunday only to find out they all have other plans.

I'm a little worried that there are people out there that really believe the client is "potentially dangerous". I think more people downloaded and got to grips with CleanDoD quicker than they have this one which to me is mind boggling considering where that client originated from and just how cumbersome it was compared to the new TPG version. I set up the new client in like 5 minutes and the FAQ was super simple to read through.

I don't know Tin or the rest of the admins well enough to say that I trust them 100% but I honestly think it's highly unlikely at this point in time that Tin or his admin team are trying to hack the computers of the 100 or so people that still play DoD in 2014. The unfortunate truth is that people still cheat at this stupid game and a client of some sort is needed to make sure people are playing legitimately for once.

Of course I'd like to know exactly what the client does and doesn't do, what it sees and whatever else but transparency also gives people the opportunity to try and cheat the anti cheat and that's not something TPG want obviously.

At the end of the day the client is here and whether you signed up to start every week or just to back up when needed you still signed up to play TPG: TPG now has a client so guys please take 10-15 mins to read up on it, install it and make sure it works because if you can't do that you should probably wear a dunces hat and sit in the corner.

This.

CleanDoD had been used in DoD:S leagues prior to 1.3 giving it a shot, and what the client attained was made public on their website. I think that's what made it seem more tolerable to people. On the other hand, all that we're told about the new client is that it does "more".

Team Infinite i am also sorry we could not play this weekend ... as for the Anti cheat being released on friday only gives teams 2 days to install it and make sure it works ... IMO it should have been released 7 days in advance to make sure everyone had it installed and ready to go

I most likely wont be on this sunday as i have fathers day commitments and with another game i play i am also scheduled at that time to be in a tournament ... I have the main required tank for the tournament for world of tanks ....

If we can do a double whammy the following week it gives all teams a chance to get it installed and check to make sure it works

lol...seriously?? this is why it is so hard for this community to move forward and grow. Everyone is just too immature and so closed minded that they can't actually believe that we are trying to do something good for the community. Everything always has to come back to how "Corrupt" the TPG Admins are when you don't even know anything about it? You have this mentality that "oh only they know how it works so they won't get caught" when in fact they don't even know how it works.

Anyways...
The reason I did not post about the client until Friday was because I didn't have the latest stable version until late Thursday. I have been testing this thing for a month now, and have add various people (not only admins) run the client and let me know how it performs on their PC. They NEVER saw any of the reports or knew anything about it. They just did what I asked and tested it. After I received the latest version on Thursday I got people random people together for a 12 man and almost everyone ran the client. Beas was the only one with an issue of having black bars but we weren't sure what the cause of that was. After the 12 man, everyone said the client ran smoothly and everything worked out fine..
It was then decided that we should release the latest version to the community and start using it and so it was released Friday morning. Yes we could have waited until Today to release it for the matches on 6/22/2014 and given more time for everyone to test it, but at the time, we were having no major issues with the client at the time and I felt that the client was extremely easy to run and I had faith that the community would be able to run it without a problem. Even then, only a handful of people would test the client before match day and a majority will wait until right before the match anyways..

So it turned out that the client doesn't like to use your launch options, but thankfully Dan posted an awesome quick fix for this problem so I didn't see a reason to hold off on using the client on Sunday. If Dan didn't post that and if there was no quick fix for the launch options, I would have told everyone to hold off on using it. This week, we will hopefully add a feature for "Launch Options" so all you have to do is copy and paste the launch options you have set in steam into the client and we will load them for you.
Even after those that had issues for one reason or another, they ALL got it working fine except for 4 people (and that is because they are on Windows XP which will also be fixed soon).

What does the client do:
I mentioned earlier that this client is very similar to CleanDoD..CleanDoD monitored your console, gathered your configs, took screen shots, monitored your processes and a few other things that I can’t remember off the top of my head.
No this is not a keylogger and it boggles my mind that anyone would ever believe flux..
I also said that it did more than what CleanDoD did..CleanDod was easy for users to get around and although it was a decent client, it had some security flaws. This client is better in making sure that people cannot get around the client without the client knowing and that is all I will say about that.
This client is a work in progress and will only get better with your feedback. I have already received a few suggestions on how to improve the client and will try to implement them if it’s possible.

I have been told that there are certain people spreading crap around how the game is dying and that when I took over TPG has been dying at a faster pace. The thing that really ticks me off is the part where they say that I have not done anything for this community. I didn’t listen to the entire vent recording of corey “JgNator” marko …but here is my reply:
This game is well over a decade old. Maybe…Just Maybe…the game is dying because it is so old.. and FYI, it has been dying well before I took over.
As far as me not doing anything for the community…that is a load of crap. I have personally spent my own time and money for this community and this game. I have paid for servers for the community to use since the beginning of 2011 (I have NFO invoices if you don’t believe me). Even today, I currently host 4 TPG servers so that teams without servers have somewhere to play, the XM server, the Champion server. In the past, 5 TPG CSGO servers and COUNTLESS servers for teams. My best guess is that I’ve spent close to $1500 since 2011 on servers alone for this community.
I created a web script to automatically record HLTV’s for all my servers + anyone that asks me to set up their server to auto record. I have always given people HLTV’s for all of my servers within a timely manner, never denying anyone an HLTV from my servers.
I volunteer my time to run TPG league and do my best to make sure it runs smoothly and honestly. Unlike how your friends have been caught with their pants down talking about how they protected your brother and others (I’ve been shown vent recordings of this too, it’s funny how you are in all of these vent recordings).
I have spent the last 1-2 months of my time and my own money trying to develop this client for the community. I am doing this FOR THE COMMUNITY.
So Corey, what have you done besides make movies for the community.. I mean, what have you done other than charge people for movies and have them still waiting years later? (BTW, if you feel that I am personally going after you in all this, that is because I am..)

Everyone will always complain, no matter what I or anyone else does. But, I am honestly getting tired of all of the BS from things like this. You ALL take for granted all the time and effort that people actually spend to try and give EVERYONE a better experience. For example: The time the AC Admins put in to watch HUNDREDS of demos we receive. We ask you to time a demo before you submit it and you complain. Now think about that. You won’t time 1 demo, but you expect the TPG Admins that VOLUNTEER to run this league to watch ALL of these demos that get turned in but you can’t time 1 simple demo?
Those of you that call TPG Corrupt because your friend gets banned or for whatever reason. Is there any evidence that any of the current TPG Admins or myself did anything even close to being “Corrupt?” or are you just saying it so you can “look cool and fit in”.
Everyone constantly complains about EVERYTHING and RARELY do we get a “Thank you for doing this for the community,” or even a simple “Thank You.” The past few days I have received a few Thank you’s and I really do appreciate it. You are the reason why I continue to try and improve this community. You are the reason I try and bring life back into this game. But when people talk shit behind my back and then come talk to me and pretend to be my “friend,” it gets old.. and has, as you can see, pushed me to react this way.

You are doing a good job Tin, I've never spoken to anyone who had a problem with you or how you are running TPG. It's pretty clear to me that you have the league in your best interests and anything new that you have implemented was done so to benefit the community.

I don't speak to Tin that often but he's always had a server available for us and many other teams to play on when we've needed one, he'll set a team up with everything they need and reply to their questions quicker than anyone else, give you HLTV recordings quicker than anyone else and he's usually smiling while he does it all. The only thing I can remember about the previous head admin is that he deleted me from his friends list not once but twice as soon as he was done talking to me, I only added him to ask him for some help at the time regarding matches/TPG stuff

The biggest problem with TPG right now is definitely not the admins nor the management, it's the players..sadly.

If the fuckbags that troll this forum or that have time for 12mans but not league games would play just 40 mins of DoD one time a week on Sunday the league would be doing just fine.

As for the conspiracy theories, well I guess that's just people getting upset because they no longer have any influence over TPG admins..

Let aside any personal issues lying around I personally tried to convince pretty much all head admins to enforce an AC client since I joined TPG. When I heard that TPG was developing a self-made AC I couldn't be more delighted to know that certain people would either quit or stop being jesus on wheels. It ought to be a lot of work programming that stuff since the million variables and I give TinBad props for that specially after doing it all by himself. The current competitive situation didn't really helped much but I am sure that for the 10-20 teams that will still endure on the league will reap the benefits. Finally, fair matches from now on. Good job, men.

As hildebrand said, "thankless" is the key word here. This game will survive on a competitive level until there are no longer people who care enough to tend to the administrative side of things. That group is small, and it will not last long.

For as long as it lasts, thanks to you all who put in the work. Thanks to defiance for his time, and to Tin Bad for his time now. You guys offer me the chance to show up each Sunday, drop a solid 40, lose, and then say dumb stuff to knockout 3 times a year with minimal relevance. And my job sucks, so, like, I really do enjoy this stuff.

I don't trust the client.... it has since replaced my firefox homepage to some bollywood movie site, changed all of my bookmarks to local indian cuisine web pages, I am now receiving invites for HP phone support training, and for some reason all my browsing history is now porn....
