Curing your DoD blues....

Well it's true. And I'm going to show you how.
Some of you may already know this trick, but for those of you wanting to play dod, but there are no matches, there are no 12 mans, and you're banned from almost every good pub there is, have no fear. Not only will you be unbanned from all of them, you will never be oppressed again. It's insanely easy, and does not cost a penny.

Step 1: Make a new steam account
- You will need a new email address, but that's simple. Gmail accounts are free an easy to make, just make a new one

Step 2: Return to your original steam account, and make these changes
- Go into: Settings - Family
- You will be given the option, to "share your game library" with other accounts, on your computer...it should look like this
Image

- You click the box, next to the new account you just made, and click the "Authorize this computer" button.

Step 3: Log into your new account and play dod, you're done.

-When I did it, it didn't even make me make a new config
- I had to activate "Steam Guard" on my new account, but that took seconds

Things to keep in mind:
- MAKE sure all your new accounts are set to "private" and do not have any relation to the other. If an admin gets REALLY mad, (and he will) he may lurk you, find out you have 0 friends, and a half hour played in DoD. He may then ban ur IP and that's a whole other animal to deal with (google "how to use a VPN and you're saved, but its more trouble)

- You can share with up to FIVE new accounts at once. So for me, I made 30, and have 5 at a time that i can quickly log in and out of, so that I can return to the server I was banned from before the rage even settles.

No longer will you have to sit for fast-switching, while Neo-Gods is full 24 hours a day, full of fresh meat for the wolves.
I urge you, old wolf,
Eat
And enjoy

When you play Day of Defeat, and your name is TonyMontana, you make 30 accounts, upon stumbling upon this gift. Or more

TLDR: You spend more than 5 seconds caring about being able to join public servers.

1911 has been and always will be the best part about Day of Defeat. Of course you wouldn't know anything about that because you just started playing it last week. Too bad.

Yes. And I still got better than you, and I have received more responses, and made bigger threads, than you ever have, or will, so whats the moral of the story?

It's been a while since I've watched Happy Gilmore, but doesn't Bob Barker get up from that and kick his ass? So what you're saying is "I'm better than you when I can get a cheap shot in, but you'll still beat me in the long run."

Got it.

Will I be punished for any cheating or fraud conducted by other users while playing my games?

Your Family Sharing privileges may be revoked and your account may also be VAC banned if your library is used by others to conduct cheating or fraud. In addition, VAC-banned games cannot be shared. We recommend you only authorize familiar Steam Accounts and familiar computers you know to be secure. And as always, never give your password to anyone.

Note: If you are VAC banned, you will be unable to share any VAC protected games.

Story was cool

Dude, you are dumber than a plastic bag full of nails.

I don't use the accounts to CHEAT, nor am i saying "go out there and cheat your balls off and dont worry"

It's just far too easy to get banned from good pub servers, for quickswitching, playing too good, being mouthy etc....

having many accounts you are able to use on one computer is perfectly allowable. I have 30. And they have already brought me many good times, in many good pub servers I otherwise wouldn't be allowed in, for one gay reason or another.

relax
