on the same map as the finals they dodged
but we did
And everyone shut right the fuck up
KS was moved to Main

The type of behavior from league officials you might now find disgusting considering we were 2x the size of any team in TPG at the time, and in fact had TWO teams, in TWO divisions, that were both crowned champions that season, one way or another.
Then treated poorly by the league
Gone 1 season later
Way to kill your own game

I'm pretty positive people will lose all hope for DoD by then.

There isn't anything wrong with starting up a league for some casual dod match-play. DoD has always been a fun game to play (minus the silly bugs). If I was 17 again with plenty of time on my hands I'd gladly sign up and play a few matches.

point to consider:

I don't intend to sound like an asshole by saying this so please don't take this personal: As far as the rest of your post goes - It's pointless to delude yourself into thinking you'll see dod reach a high level of competition in 2015 and beyond. Competitive dod reached it's peak in 2005 with Summer CPL and and it's decline became obvious with the decreased level of competition in CPL 2006.

However, even with the major competition gone, dod is still dod. There is no shame in enjoying a game that you like playing.

Great nostalgia post. I forgot all about the fotws i was in over the years. Lots of fotw clips over the years but never my own frag movie. Devin start timing my demos and complete that for me. The time has come....
