1911 Beta

So I did a full format and installed XP on my comp, after a day or two of trying every iso out there FFFFFFU vista. Config'd my config and still my FPS is dropping below 20 when I fire my gun...

Thing is though, I tried it after fresh install. Still terribly low fps. And then I dl'd DirectX SDK June 2010, and tried it, still low FPS.

My video card is ok it says it has 256MB max.
I dunno what the next step in getting better fps is.

whats fps_max set to?
i know if i set it to 0 without developer 1 enable, it will give me like 15-20 FPS lolz.

fps_max is 99.

My system is this:

Intel core 2 duo 1.8 ghz
2gb RAM

vid card is integrated:
Mobile Intel 965 express chipset

I just finished deleting my old drivers and installing the latest ones from intel, that are supposed to include the open gl drivers from intel website.
The file name of these drivers was:
winxp_14374.exe

Edit: My vid card drivers from Intel work wonders, but I'm still getting this really specific type of lag. The game only when I start shooting, and the muzzle flashes.

Any thoughts?

does it feel you your ice skating when you shoot and move? kinda hard to explain.

I think you need something better than integrated, When i was on my integrated i had to use D3D/software to get above 20 fps.

So try and use d3d or software in dod video settings. Looks horrible though, but it works.

Ya I am ice skating a little bit with fps ranging on average like 40 fps.
Anyway to stop the ice skating?

it was a while ago when i had it happen to me, try fps_max 89, or i think i had to open task manager when dod was open and set priority to low.
