TBH, used to think he cheated, but not sure about nowadays, I wouldn't be suprised if he didn't cheat in that demo

Looks like alot of toggle action. Lots of bullshit and then lots of dumbshit. Its what you get from your usual toggler. but who knows... way to kill another dod team is all i care about.

I was pretty bored and decided to watch both demos. I didn't see anything in that demo that looked shady. I realize I'm no expert in reviewing demos but I'm not convinced he was cheating.

I watched the demos. I have no idea how he was banned

tpg ac admins either A. hold a grudge or B. don't know common spam spots

It's because of his reputation, I didn't actually watch the demo's, but it doesn't surprise me that they're very likely legit, wouldn't be the first time someone got banned for cheating when they didn't cheat

Still til this day I don't understand how people can honestly say someone isn't cheating when they CLEARLY are.

Pretty much all of his wall spams are common spots. The one where he was shooting down the connector wall as ace ran to the first he was just using sound. I honestly didn't see anything that couldn't be justified by sound or people on his team calling stuff out.

I disputed him for one shot on leroy who apparently crouched walked his way to the first without running into anyone and he was sitting somewhere waiting for leroy.

I believe he was looking for eddiebravo who was at our one. He had no vent 2nd half which would explain why he was still looking for him at our one since he didn't know he was down. Get real. And Leroy I am a HON pro noe

I watched the demos and I saw some shady shit, but if I was still TPG AC I would have voted against a ban. I think you need a preponderance of suspicious activity or one single incontrovertable moment, a smoking gun. Neither of these things are here. It's better to let a possible cheater go free than ban someone who may be innocent.

I think this one is wrong. rdk still needs to be banned though.

While that may be true, I can honestly say that I've never once played against him without thinking at least once that he was cheating. He is the only person on dpk that I thought has ever cheated, and that's saying something!

Anybody who is as amazing as poizoned is should be able to watch for deaths easily, especially if not in vent and unable to hear where people are. If this was the case, he should have been paying MORE attention to when people died so he'd know when to push...unless he could see them~

I am not going to watch the demos, but Javi has been playing for a long time. Everyone used to call cheats on him when I played actively and that was like two years ago. You would think that two years (and he was good at that time) would allow you to continue to improve upon your skill... I always find it ironic when people calls cheats on players like poizoned, greetz, and element when they have been playing for such a long time. It is as if that mentality of when they just started becoming good and the more established players cannot accept it, but carried on for years...

It's funny, this is the exact thing that ran through my mind when I first saw this this thread, as people with bad reputations (whether deserved or not) become easy targets for bans. I know firsthand about being banned for cheating without actually doing so, and then being unbanned about 2 months later. I'm going to watch this later, but nothing would surprise me.

also, i don't know if poizoned has been disputed before or not, but the ac admin could have been keeping tabs on a couple of things and he finally got enough evidence to ban him.

him not having vent 2nd half isn't something that's going to help clear his ban.

Disputed him in Pre-Season But I dont think they even checked him out. No surprised he banned

haha, I won't watch the demos, but it's been standard since I started playing that idiots defend cheaters because they don't know what to look for when watching demos.

Agreed. I watched them demos and if you kids really believe someone can get that many random spam shots off of just pure luck your insane. When was the last time you had 7 or 8 kills through random wall shots like he landed? Yeh 1 maybe 2 and you call that luck but when you start hitting all your spam shots thats a diffrent story. Its obvious most of you dont know what to look for, if I had to guess he was toggling because you can notice how he does certain things to make himself seem legit like throwing stupid nades and taking extra time to go check random corners. NORMAL PLAYERS DONT DO THAT!!! Go watch your own personal demos then watch this kids and see how you feel. Remember a good cheater learns how to hide himself, and this guys apprently had all season to get really good at it. I give it to him, he made it real difficult to judge but if you know what your looking for the proof is in the pudding. And the rest of you cheating idiots saying he is legit is almost pure comedy. Im not biased and I never played with this kid nor do I know him, but ive learned how to find cheaters after 11 years of being around this game. ok? Not real sure what the point of this was but if you have free time and a shitty old wallhack to use, watch the demo for yourself. My favorite parts are when he does something obvious and he knows it, he will automatically toggle off and start doing dumbshit to make up for his mistake. Thats the greatest part about this whole demo, him trying so damn hard to hide it.If i had to take a guess id say he is using some kinda esp and not a full blown wall hack.

the kid cheats, always has. it's not like he hasn't been accused/blatant before.

Josh I respect the fact that you've been around this game for a long time and you know how the game works. But you really are wrong about this demo. The fishy stuff isn't even poizoned's wall spamming. Every wall he spams is common. Every time he shoots walls there were obvious indicators someone was there (gunfire, teammate just died there, footsteps, etc). The only wall spam that is a tiny bit fishy is when poizoned is in treehouse entrance and he wall traces ace all the way from connector to the axis one flag and then all the way to swing door. But even then, it's pretty unremarkable. I've gotten kills by tracing people from connector to the axis one in treehouse. Anybody who rifles wells on a regular basis knows that wall spamming is part of doing a good job. I would have been wall spamming just as much as him.

The only really fishy parts of poizoned's demos are when he's capping wells and is able to crouch walk around the barrels at wells to keep himself perfectly hidden from 99 players peeking from underpass. He'll crouch walk around the barrels keeping them between himself and the enemy player perfectly. Then he'll pop up and kill them, instantly knowing where they are. That is the only truly fishy shit I see. That isn't enough though.

I honestly think I was a really good AC. I was good enough of a player to know what to watch for. I had personal experience cheating on pubs so I know what cheating behaviors are. Most importantly though, I put personal feelings aside, clearing players when the evidence wasn't there, even if I really wanted to see them banned. I think poizoned is a victim of people who couldn't do the same. He has a bad reputation, having been banned for cheating before (this is only what I've heard, I wasn't around at the time). People accuse him a lot in 12 mans. When this demo came in you can be sure that poizoned's reputation and his team affiliation were in the mind of at least one AC, if not all.

Who are the AC admins right now? RWC, godlesscommie, and pat. The only one of those three with enough skill in the game to be a decent AC is pat. Problem with pat though, and I don't think he'll disagree with me on this, is that he really just doesn't care enough about the job. Godlesscommie just isn't knowledgeable enough about dod to be an effective AC. I don't think RWC is either. RWC's real problem though are his perceptions of players. Every day he's "blown away" and "in awe" of some new player he just got a demo of (who is in fact fairly mediocre). He'll also post on 1911 making public statements about how fishy a disputed demo is before he even watches it.

I think TPG desperately needs a new AC team. I think it was pretty good when it was me, pat, Austin, Narc, RWC. Narc was actually a pretty good AC. Now it's pat and two other people who I wouldn't entrust my demos to in a million years.

And I think if I am able to put aside my personal feelings for poizoned, someone who I have accused of cheating in 12 mans multiple times, other people can shut up just as well, unless they've seen the demos. So many people on here are saying shit like "guy has always cheated", or "good riddance." I even said something like that at the beginning of the thread. Then I watched the demos. Anyone with any skill in the game who knows what to look for will see that this just isn't worthy of a ban.

I see toggle, and the random wall spam is WAY to random. I know people spam walls, you can see tons of people doing it besides him in his demo. But how how many of them actually landed multiple shots like he did? None. Thats not really whats in question here. I Was more blown away by the play style. I do agree with there needing to be more/better ac admins but I think this ban is justified. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. If I could get more demos of his from previous matches it would be alot easyier to come to a conclusion. I do agree its hard to ban someone off one demo that just fishy. Maybe pat or someone has watched a few demos before coming to the conclusion, who knows.

Plz show us. Upload a demo of you on lennon going crazy with the wall spam. Shouldnt be hard for you to find one since its a "dime a dozen" kinda shot. And you need to make atleast 6 or 7 shots like he did. Not just 1.

i find it funny that all these old school players (who are currently the shittiest players) are calling so many people out.. they're so determined that they're still the best players after being gone 5 years. lol
