1911 Beta

TPG will be hosting the DoD summer draft. It will be a double elimination style event hosted from July 19th - 31st.

Schedules are up. Use match comm to setup matches. Rosters WILL lock before tomorrows match so be sure to get all of your players on the roster. Each team is allowed 2 disputes, do so like a regular TPG match. No player on any roster is REQUIRED to play it is up to the captains to decide who plays. Good Luck Have Fun.




these are the draft results. each team captain's steam community page is next to their name and the players that were picked are expected to contact the captain to work out the scheduling situation. the team names were up to the captains and will be on the tpg site obviously. there will be seedings and a map rotation taken care of in the next hour or so and posted here along with a bracket. the first matches will be this coming tuesday, july 19th, with the finals match being tentatively scheduled for sunday, july 31st*.

the captains have teams made on the tpg site and once they are in contact with each of their players they will give them the join pw and the rosters will all be set up and ready to go. good luck and have fun my friends and hopefully this goes well!

I doubt that we're allowed to pick up people now that the draft is over, but I'm pretty sure my team (Turtle Power) needs a sniper! Plus, I think we would've been the next team to pick in the 10th round!

just so you guys know this is probably gonna turn into a more common thing so if you're not playing in this one, don't think you'll never have the chance again. probably gonna try and do these during the periods of time we have to kill in between seasons and whatnot....but moral of the story is this isn't gonna end up being the only one we're doing

If you queers would quit acting like your to cool to play dod this might be an interesting experience. This is alot more fun then playing regular matches and already knowing the outcome. This is the most balanced dod can possibly be.

actually, even when teams are "balanced", a team that practices is more likely to beat a team that doesn't practice.

practicing really takes away from the general idea of a draft. lol but i guess i'm a queer

which is why most drafts begin on one day and finish in that same day. DODS may have been a shitty game and an even worse community but at least their drafts were every saturday and they were all ran effectively. Honestly, I'd much prefer a single day draft over week long ones, but since it's already been decided... But maybe next time we could try and organize ones on certain days?
