to whoever scrimmed this earlier today, you will have to replace your current dod_lindbergh_b1.bsp with this one

great map, played really really well. did an excellent job buddy boy, this is the first really good feeling custom league map since lennon came out (and actually played better the first time i scrimmed it so maybe this is actually the best one since harrington)

It's like all the dod league maps had a gangbang, and this was the resulting love child.

i'm sorry that the truth hurt you. anybody can see that it's harrington with extra doorways. you basically took everything from harrington changed a few things, put some stuff in different spots and called it a new map.

It looked alright, but I haven't played on it yet. I do feel like some of the buildings are a little high though.

It looks a bit like harrington, but from the scrim I played on it last week, it played so much different. I'm not sure what you've changed since then, but I'm looking forward to it.

I scrimmed the map once on mountain and thought it was pretty fun. I know that a few positives came out of the experience and the biggest was diversifying BlackHawk's skill set and making him a great all-around player, not just the most dominant heavy to date.

Who really cares what it looks like or how closely it resembles other map at this point. Does it play well??

its an observation. Nothing more. I haven't played the map yet and I figured I would be a good member of the community and make a comment.

Yes, it plays well because its developed for competitive play,
However, its somewhat a slower played map. I explained to steve that if he created it faster and needed to make it slower it requires more work.
The larger the map the quicker to make smaller because areas can be deleted instead of re-created. This map is Beta, and it frustrates me to see people expect perfection when "THEY" are the beta participants. Being a part of a beta is a privilege and people need to understand that adjustments can be made.
Comments such "its a repeat or look a like", are not comments to help improve areas of a map.
Please take 2 minutes of your day to walk around the map, find nades.. find glitches, see if textures are properly done.. at least something in the helping nature.
Those 2 minutes are what we need as input to help this community,
Please stop being so negative,
Thanks

my only suggestion is to go over the map with boosting in mind... there is a box on long in particular that you can get up on the roofs which is cool ....and could be practical in a match, but you can't use it because you can see things you're not suppose to see from up there...
just a suggestion... i like maps that can be played like a jungle gym.

you're only allowed to boost on things you can get to without having to boost onto, if that makes sense (ie: boosting from long into apartments on railroad2, boosting into allied sniper loft on anzio at bridge)

i see. would still be cool for pub play though. (not that you guys are making maps geared towards that, and most pub servers don't allow boosting)
I can't wait to actually play this one though... i wish i could heavy... that route looks fun.

jumping onto railing at mountain steps makes you see into the mountain house.

long is fucking retarded. mountain axis spawn needs to be shortened. allies get to ladder wayyyyy too fast.
