personally i only complain when half their team is using rates below league requirements, when they bunny hop their way through the map warping, and when i cant hit them before they lag as they do the two previous mentioned actions

/\ these are the argentineans and don't worry verb, we will handle this with effort. Just like we did with try2win case ALL south-americans (myself included) needs to stick with the rules book very close to their chest and since TPG kindly opened its division to some of them severe punishments can/will be enforced.

The one time I was right. I said everyone loves the idea hates the game when they actually have to play against them.

I should have changed the subject to Argentineans, my appologies Casino. I have never had an issues with a brazilian team - but this is the second time in two weeks playing against argentineans and both times there have been issues .... its getting pretty frustrating!

I do appreciate the job the TPG admins are doing - just annoying losing to teams that we shouldnt be losing to is all :(

You are making some kind of confusion here, Nacho. Verb's team is 475th Merril's Marauders and they played against blessed. They had NOTHING to do with your match against Band-Aid team. Unfriendly actions like this is one of the main reasons that make USA people hate you guys that much.

Can't help but notice the constant slander against Argies this past month, and I have to say, the most talented and friendly SA team I've ever played against was ARMY (or sKgz). They are Argentinean. And I'm not saying people should hate Brazilians instead, because I'm sure there's plenty good dudes from there as well, but perhaps we should stop classifying our DoD players by their nationalities as opposed to greasy dorkiness. We certainly have more than enough NA players high on that scale.

Right, and that's super annoying. All I'm saying is the talk of OH IT'S ONLY THOSE DAMNED ARGENTINEANS isn't very constructive, seeing as there's plenty of players from any involved nation that likes to exploit unfair advantages. By all means, if Argentinean players are being big douchebags, berate and punish those individuals, just don't attribute it to their nationality.

I see more north americans warp around than I do SA. Hell, I've seen linus (who usually has higher ping than any SA) warp around less than some north americans.

I got your point joel. USA players indeed rate but you have to agree me that south-american teams are much more fragile to community opinion and what not than the regular USA teams / players. And I like some argentieans as well, makhen's team (angry cockroaches) is legit and does not cheat nor rate. But don't be fooled they are one in a million. And the average argentineans aren't. I never understood why but most of them always like to act like dorks. Who would imagine that a invite team like try2win / wild ineters would have someone multi-accounting? Thats something that in a south-american aspect I have saw only argentineans doing. Since people started attributing this to "south-americans" I just wanted to make sure that Brazil and Argentina are different countries with different kind of people and different attitudes. I've been dealing TPG disputes since TPG season 22 and like 80% of the them involving south-american people are of rating issues from/for argentineans. The other 10% were from chilean and the other 10% brazilians as well. As for now in all three divisions there is 8 south americans teams (1 brazi, 1 chilean and 6 argentinean).

wtf cassino ? this is for all of us, cuase they did the same shit to us during the game.

im playing a cute tpg match with 2 guys neggin' and talking shit trough all the match.
how come im the dush here? i have to play with 200ms and deal with this constant attitude towards us cause we are from a diff country? im kinda tired of this "coconut, poor, banana" situation.

how come this guys can be so racist without any consecuence? so a missing screenshot is more important than a guy calling us "poor banana picker from a third starving country"?.

if you feel bad about people negging you or what not (and as long as you dont to the same) all you have to do is dispute. as for me since I know that people rage when they lose I am more worried of actually having a cool and organized league to play than caring about e-nerd raging shit.

Pretty much nails it right on the head there. A lot of the people today would never have made it back in the day playing the European teams. South Americans arent that bad unless they rate.

If you lived on the west coast, you got worse ping from the Euros than you did the south Americans

I played quite a bit with PTk and no one seemed to complain about his ping. The guy was simply good at the game. Same with An1mal, Zamurai, etc.

There have also been plenty of south americans that were always enjoyed in the community like lampro and makhen.

People just don't like losing, and the south americans give a lot of people a run for their money. Just like how the upcoming players from the post retail era are all called cheaters and hated on, people just don't like to lose and will always find something to bitch about if they don't win.

Hey im replying here not to start any kind of fight or controversy, but just to make some things more clear to all of you.
I've been playing this game since 2002, mostly of the time on mainvite div, started with STA, also OGN (some of u might remember that one with EURO's playing too), then CAL (o-im-m) , then TPG and then DCN.. and all the seasons is always the same problem, some of the USA community always complain about our ping saying that we take advantage of it and i can guarantee athis is impossible, the reg is different that's for sure, with rifles is maybe more "play-able" but try to play with a heavy pinging 210 then u tell me... My point is all the people that complain about the SA teams never took time to watch how we play.. and i can make sure that the reason why we win is not our ping but our game strategy.. in my own experience with my actual team (Angry Cockroaches) we practice 3 days a week before our matches with the full roster, also 1 of those days the 6 of us join a server and we take like 1 hour and half just talking how to play our match and some strategies / nades, and i see there are not much NA teams doing the same.. So from now on just try to understand that playing dod is not just running around a map catching flags and fragging a lot.... u better start watching demos from really strategical teams like x6 or coL used to be... also the old Trademark team those guys really knew how to applie strategy to this game.
I dont mean we are the only team playing with tactics on the dod scene right now and also im not saying we are always going to win because of it but try to learn some more about us instead of hating ,just like i learned from mostly of u towards all this years playing in NA leagues.
I also have to say im glad to be allowed to play the NA league's and i dont like this cand of post i think this just hurts even more our loved game.. we all should try to make a good and clean community.

In fairness, most people don't have the interest to scrim daily as well as watch demos or mess around with nades/walls anymore.

I don't think a lot of people, well the more intelligent ones, think that they are a bunch of scrubs who would get stomped with fair pings. Let's see how long it takes for everyone to prove me wrong.

If they had fair pings, they would walk over 98% of the current teams. Pretty much everyone but Thunder.

same could be said about a number of teams we have right now if they actually cared and put in the time/effort to get better. not like we dont have an abundance of skill in the US, just a complete lack of care. the SA's care more than us, not surprising they win.

If it was nFound scrim that I ringed with you guys then it was our fault because by the time I was going long no one was on rails - and when I changed to rails no one was in the long route lol! Axis side was pretty much ours all the time!

I think this is grossly inaccurate. Most of the South American teams are/were mid-level CAL-o teams. 1 or 2 are competitive. The problem was, at least when I played and still appears to be the issue, cheating - either hacking or rating. Smaller population with many of them doing it sours the the group much faster.

There are some good players in there and some good teams. However, the trash exploits the game on a regular basis.

Can't even begin to tell you how many matches against South Americans were delayed while they sandbagged looking for a 6th ringer.

Mitch I think Scott meant nowadays - where so few USA teams do practice for their upcoming matches (whereas the south american are scrimming like there is nothing left in the world). TBH I do agree with you because only nPg (bud, bitchx, storm, etc) managed to get in the CAL-I when CAL-I was in fact invite. Other teams like ]aCt[, Owned, debores7 among others were exactly as you said: Open or Mid level teams. Thats why I think what Mr. Smith said regards to this brand new era of DoD. :)
