I actually really like Mayweather. Whether it ended by a cheap shot or not, he still would've won. The guy is a defensive mastermind and is just untouchable in the ring. Combine that with fast, precise punches and Floyd is on a completely different level than anyone else.

Let's be honest, the guy was leaning in to apologize and he cold-cocked him, it's a cheap shot. Just like punching below the belt during fighting is a cheap shot.

He had him beat in at least 3 of the 4 rounds...if not all 4.

Why is everyone ignoring the intentional headbutt by Ortiz??? The ref called for the fight to resume anyway, Ortiz was just in la-la land and showed his inexperience. If you're going to call Mayweather dirty, call Ortiz dirty too. Mayweather needs to step up and fight Manny though. I miss the Gatti/Ward type fights...

He was docked the points. So, your point is irrelevant. That cheap shot was handled, and properly. Sucker punching your opponent during a glove tap is lame shit. Ortiz was getting knocked around and Mayweather would have won the fight legitimately barring a phenomenal comeback or lucky shot.

Yes, I am because there is a process for dealing with a headbutt or below the belt process. It's shitty, but it happens more often than you think in boxing, and there is a way of remedying it.


I really don't know if Mayweather will fight Manny. I honestly think he's that chickenshit. And anyone throwing a $100 million at a boxing fight is an idiot. It doesn't command that kind of money.

Wouldn't Manny vs Floyd be the most anticipated fight in many years? It will make some fat cash. Ortiz vs. Mayweather was a little under a 100 million dollar fight. I think it would be 150 miliion dollar plus fight. And the winner would take atleast 2/3rds.
