At least you're fairly consistent and don't root for the Jets. I'll allow this thread. Rooting for the Islanders and Nets permits you to root for the Yankees.

Look at your comment. Back to mine. Back to yours NOW BACK TO MINE. Sadly, it isn't mine. But if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate crap it could LOOK like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You're scrolling through comments, finding the ones that your comment could look like. Back at mine, what is it? It's a highly effective counter-troll. Look again, MY COMMENT NOW HAS MANY THUMBS UP.

The Yankees should be worried about how many games they just gave up to the Rays over the last month, and just gave up 4 straight. Doesn't exactly light my world on fire to think they're gonna win the series.

I'd love to see the Brewers and Rangers in the World Series.

The Yankees honestly don't stand a chance in hell of making it all the way. Anything can happen in a 5 game series, but beyond that? Not much.

The Yankees live and die by whether or not they can hit home runs. Keep the ball around knee level and it's game over. Of course, that's the key to success for any pitcher. Time and time again though we see that pull hitting is the first thing out the window in playoffs.

Uhh I was born in Grand Prairie and grew up in Arlington. I live in Dallas now. My family has had season tickets for over a decade. I went to the All-Star game at the Ballpark when I was a kid.

Thanks for the dickish assumption btw scorch. You're a cool guy.

And even if I wasn't from Texas, if I didn't grow up playing baseball for 15 years, and I wasn't a lifelong fan going to probably 10x more Rangers games than the average person, why can only people in close geographic proximity be fans of a team?? A person from Seattle couldn't be a Rangers fan based on a respect they have for the organization, the players, the team's play style, manager, etc..?

And what's so horrible about being a casual or bandwagon fan?? Do you guys really garner self-esteem based on how "hardcore" you are? If the team wins it all, they aren't going to mail you a World Series ring because you have a beer koozie collection going back to the team's Washington Senators days. You're just another dude sitting on his ass watching TV too. Quit pulling rank on everyone based on how long you've watched TV.

I used to live in the Plano area.

I dislike dallas with a passion.

edit: regardless of how much I dislike dallas, I did enjoy going to the ranger games, and hope to see them take it all.

Same here, I'm a Reds fan. Local papers are talking about getting rid of Votto since they have another young slugging 1st baseman. Could be an interesting off season round here. Not to mention they're possibly resigning Cordero...gives me a heart attack every time he goes in for a save.
