Battlefield 3 Beta

Who else is playing this on PC? Despite the minor bugs associated with its beta status, it's actually really really fun right now (it is also FREE). Anyone interested in playing can add me on Origin (lolward) and in the BF3 Battlelog (lolward).

It's been super glitchy for me at start up, but otherwise its pretty smooth.

The battlelog has been a pain at times, and going prone can put you underground (wtf, prone?), but other than that it is badass. Love the second stage with the trains.

I've had no problems with battlelog, besides the fact that it's missing a queue feature for servers.
The issue with going underground has to do with terrain destruction, and it has happened without proning as well.
As for sniping, it's only aggressive right now because of the short/medium range of the map going well with the semi-auto snipers. Once the big maps are opened up (aka retail), you will be forced to use bolt action rifles for the accuracy, and it will be slower. I do enjoy it right now though on Operation Metro. And the pistols are ridiculously good...I've wiped out whole squads at a time using the M9.

It had a queue feature the first day and people didn't join servers, just stayed in a queue. So they yanked it.

The sniping in this game is fun as hell. On the map in the beta (operation metro) it's a little too easy with the semi auto rifles, but on big open maps it will definitely take some skill to pull off headshots at range.
