That's actually pretty funny..wow. I actually was planning a few years back that the iPhone "5", if I ever got one, would be the first iPhone I'd buy just cause I knew it'd have 4G based on the roadmaps and apple's release cadence. But now Steve is gone and Cook is turning apple into a soulless corp machine, especially with all the patent trolling, I'm not too eager to make an Apple phone my first major smartphone purchase.

Plus Android is finally getting to be where I want it to be, less fragmented between devices. But it all might be for not as I feel like Windows 8 is going to kill it on tablets (but not desktops).

I'm interested in the iPhone 5 release with Samsung already intending to lay a heavy LTE patent lawsuit against Apple if the phone includes a LTE chip. LTE patents aren't necessarily FRAND yet.. so that could make for an interesting lawsuit.

It's all just a matter of preference. I've had a Droid Incredible and an iPhone 4s as my last two phones and I don't have a complaint about either one. A friend just bought the Galaxy 3 and I really liked it but don't want a phone that big. I also rooted/jailbroke both phones which made them even better.

Better blame the os and not the shitty phone you had.

I have an iPhone and have never had any problems with it. I had an Android powered phone, and had to charge the battery like 10 times a day.

Android is surpassing iOS and Apple knows it. The S3 is the best Android phone available and isn't a cumbersome size.

The galaxy 3 is actually really tight. Just got it last weekend and it feels better in my pocket than my blackberry did and it's fast as hell
