The new hard drive seems to be working great. I uninstalled Steam from the primary one, and installed everything onto the new one and so far there is no lag or anything.
However, now my problem is high ping. I don't know what's wrong, I scanned my computer first with ESET Nod 32, found no threats. I then uninstalled that, and installed a full version of AVG 2013, afterwards, I ran a full scan which also found nothing. My internet speed as of now is 43 down, and 34 up. It is usually within the 40's for download, and 30's for upload. Which is why I don't think its my internet connection.
My ISP is Verizon FIOS, they have a router that is also a modem, and my computer is plugged into that.
I ran Ccleaner, then the defraggler, still no luck. I ran the Windows Disk clean up, and then the Windows defrag program, that didn't work either.
I'm not sure what else to do, my ping is 120+ on servers where it usually was 10 to 30.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
