with brazi/whatever teams. i've always supported allowing them to play in our league, a lot of the time they're extremely good competition. but this is now 2 times this season we've played against one of your teams and had one or multiple people from that team rating like crazy. just played F^ on harrington and kept saying how benitz or whatever the kids name is, was impossible to hit... so pat checked shit out and turns out he had a rate of 40.

im seriously beginning to debate whether im going to keep pushing to allow you all to play in our leagues if this is just whats going to keep happening, seriously makes playing not fun in any way. lagterp shots i can handle but having you rate your ass off is just complete bullshit and annoying.

and yes this is mainly directed to you cassino since you're pretty much the 'voice' of the brazi/argentinian/whatever teams.

Yes, I do. If you have ESL - Wire Installed make sure you get comfortable with it. Its a nifty program unlike no other anti-cheat.

ESL Wire Features
This program is similar to a chat program, with game features allowing you to record via program or connect to VLAN with a buddy regardless without the need of opening ports. Although the VLAN seems rather finicky, it does work but not to the best of the ability.

Such a good plug-in. I remember those morons trying to join for matches and for 30 minutes they'd try to be telling a CAL admin the server was broken, not their bad rates. This is why I got tired of playing against them. Well, that and the cheating.

ohh ryan... this is really annoying I know. Let me try to show you a few things first even before trying to enter in this discussion.

First of all, I'd really want to separate things... despite living on the same region (South America), each country is really different than each other. As far as SA teams are concerned on USA leagues, we only have Brazil and Argentina teams competing at the moment.

Right now you are probably thinking: "the hell with it, I don't need geography lessons and whatnot"

First off all, I always worked to be a frontman of my community (Brazil). If USA leagues management chooses to wipe out Argentinean teams from the league be sure that I won't raise my hand and say "hey, Brazi teams will leave if you kick Argentineans from the league". Of course not. They had their shot and didn't take it seriously.

Secondly, believe me that though they are our neighbors we are very different people. And as far as sportsmanlike attitudes are concerned most of the argentineans are a pain in the ass because like football they don't know how to lose. And in order to get a shot for win they can do anything, legit or not. Most of them simply can't stand on losing to whatever team they face in whatever competition they are in. Like I said before, most is different than all. Of course we have some good argentineans like makhen, pola and Super and friendly teams like Argento and Reines.Ei (who can lose by 1000 points spread and never goes bazooking, voicing, whatever). Other than these, its pretty much like I described.

To sum all up: we are different countries. As for now TPG have 4 brazilian teams (dW, Fake do pipi by, reLoad and fireyes). How many times you saw someone complaining about them? (for cheating/rating issues of course, some brazilians can't control their fingers especially if someone keep on voicing them but hey we are talking about h4x). If some of teams does something related to these matters then I will feel ashamed and I will personally enforce that the team will take whatever punishment the league admins decide for.

Moreover I will have a talk with Narc and propose a more severe punishment SA's who likes to rate, i.e. rating will grant you a 1 year suspension and having two or more raters get caught in your team will make TPG admins excludes not only the player but the team from the season.

Like I said in a earlier thread, I'd rather prefer being a legit monkey than an bankrupt rater boludo jejejejajaja... It's all true.

Fortunately ESL has a wonderful penalty point system that enforces every member to stay within the guidelines set by the administration. Unlike CAL back in the day, we used to suspend players for their actions. This system allows us to remove points based on the offense they acted upon.

Something simple as rateing can be a easy fix other then the penalty point based system, however I feel its important for you all to read and understand these rules prior to you acting on some degree.

2. Penalties

If a player or team disregards or violates one or more of the legal rules of the league, this can have various consequences depending on the severity of the offence. The ESL possesses an official catalogue of penalty points according to which points are given for each offence.

In addition to penalty points, players and teams may be barred (also known as frozen, locked and barraged) if they have accumulated a certain amount of penalty points:

After obtaining 4 penalty points: 1 week barrage
After obtaining 9 penalty points: 2 weeks barrage
After obtaining 10 penalty points: 1 month barrage

As a rule, the penalty points are deleted after a certain period of time. There are different clearance periods depending on the amount of points:

1-2 penalty points: 2 months
3-6 penalty points: 3 months
7 penalty points: 6 months
12 penalty points: 2 years (see cheating)

Insults result in the following penalties:

Written warning for the first offence
1 Penalty point + 1 week barrage for the second offence, or first serious offence
2 Penalty points + 2 weeks barrage for the third offence, or second serious offence
3 Penalty points + 3 weeks barrage for subsequent offences

The admins reserve the right to give additional penalties.

Ryan, i cant tell u any explain about this because i really dont know if Benitez actually changed his rate to 40 on purpose or what really happened, becaus im not clairvoyant.. i just can guarantee u that im gonna talk to him because i always talk to my players before the matches/scrims making them all play with the legit rates / net_g, etc.
I've been playing dod leagues in USA since 2003 and never had problems like this before, this is the first time this ever happen to me playing on any team and i think i might got some respect from part of this community during all this years playing. So im going to talk about this with the other members of my team and im gonna guarantee this wont happen again.

The problem is your focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity.
