I think I'm going to upload an old movie once a week, probably on Fridays. This is a good one to get us started.

Fragmart took place in Richmond, British Columbia way back in August of 2003, just a few months after DoD 1.0 was released in retail. It was the first LAN event in which DoD had a hosted tournament.

There were only a handful of teams who were able to attend, and the event was largely over-shadowed by the infamous squadleader accusing CHAR of "cheating" while competing at the event. The hilarity ensues half way through the video. SAC (the original top clan in DoD) attended Fragmart, but did not compete in DoD.

While Fragmart was a small tournament, and the only LAN I was able to attend, it was definitely a pivotal moment in our history, and helped push the community away from pub clans and toward an era of more competitive leagues and LAN events.

sac aka dotclan was a good cs team. i think some of them went on to be on the "professional" EG team.

Charles, he's known as "[XT] Justice" now fyi. I'm sure you may have run into him on some pub servers; about 3 weeks ago I ran into him pubbing on COR. He came to my server and ended up getting kicked for still being an asshat...go figure. He's still a cocky asshole that thinks he's amazing and cries about people cheating since they're better than him...

Fragmart was a lot of fun. And yea dot was a pretty good dod team, but a lot better cs team. They made EG and most of the original team started for them for many years, especially In Flames and BlackPanther.

LOL, I think that day he said something about my play style, calling me campy or something. I happened to be using a STG on Harrington mountain and had a BAR picked up...during one of his rants of complaining I said..."Dude, my BAR goes straight up, I have to camp!". Yeah, then he kinda got quiet.

There's actually a 2nd video of him with sound clips of him ridiculing other players and threatening to ban them if they don't play him 1v1. I tried to find it but couldn't. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?
