steam servers not showing up on new computer
Bought a new computer a week or so ago and ever since i had it i cant find any servers Ive checked the filters no problems there i have even uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, its kinda frustrating to only have the abillity to follow players off your friends list
if anyone has had this problem and no how to fix it it would be greatly appreciated

sounds like you need to open a port on a firewall to communicate with steam's master servers.

valve broke the server browsers a while back for hl1 engine games if your looking for dod servers.
use the server browser outside of the game.

I had the same problem with CSS and tf2, i started a lan game and they started refreshing, so maybe that will help i dunno

i submitted a support ticket to valve hopefully they can give me some insight on this problem and i will copy/paste what they say hopefully it will prevent any future headaches

if you have internet connection sharing on that might be it too..i know i had to turn it off when i was playing black ops on pc

Sounds like a firewall issue to me. Assuming you didn't mess with any router settings, that is probably the case. Keep in mind, if you setup port forwarding / DMZ host for your old computers router assigned IP address (eg. 192.168.1.xx etc) you very likely received a new router IP when you hooked up the new computer, and will have to go back and reassign those to the new IP address. I'm not familiar with the ports steam uses, but add exceptions for it to your router, as well as windows firewall.
