New League Coming Soon

Dear community, the summer break is over!

We, the Admins of UMGL, have used the time well to create a new league for you. Our new league page is online now.
Of course there's still a few mistakes, so we would like to ask you to let us know thru the Forum or directly by PM if you notice any. Thanx in advance!

We would like to kick off the league with a little NIGHT CUP, which will take place on 4 September 2011. The SIGNING UP PHASE has already started and will end on the day of the game at 5p.m. German time. We will play one map per round, 2x20 mins each, K.O. system- if you lose, you're out.
We hope that many will sign up, the tournament tree will be drawn up then.

And then there's the new and first season ahead. Just after the Night Cup, the sign-up for the first DoD 1.3 season will start, the first game of the season is on 18 September 2011, two weeks after the cup. We believe this will be enough time for all to sign up their teams and sign the members into the teams. All gamers must be signed in with their STEAM_IDs to get game permission. Gamers can be signed in until the first game of their team, any gamer signed in after that will be blocked for one game.
Map pool and rules can be found on the league page. Please read everything well and follow it, that will save all participants a lot of trouble.
We play round/backround, every map can only be chosen once by every team. Cleandod will be used as anti-cheat tool. Just like the server cfg's Cleandod can be downloaded from the league page. Your war server will also have to be adapted to the league, with Rateenforce and Dodguard, which are also available as downloads. Furthermore there is an own league server, which can be used in case of server problems.

So far so good, that's the new league. We, the Adminteam of UMGL wish all gamers a lot of FUN and success!
Of course you can always contact us in case of problems and we will give our best to help.

We tried to play the first nightcup but ended up forfeiting the first match against one of the admins team because we didnt have 6 in 10 minutes grace time... Yeah we took that. But two weeks later Owned THUNDER won the RenameD Nightcup 2011 against the very team who won the first Nightcup thingy! Well since ESL is likely not going to happen this is a cool way to play DoD in the Sunday afternoon.

o.O u can change the language into english, when u cant speak or read german... so when u want to play dod come in our League.. Team owned is also in our League and some players like k4b00m,mexicantdd,JaGGoN and ryanemo too...cassinoroyale is a nice mate, i speak often with him about american Teams... come on and join our league i think it makes fun to play international Day of Defeat

So the matches are at 2-3pm EST, 11-12pm PST. Most people are either attending some type of school, or are simply at work. This is probably why there aren't any American teams signed up in your league.

Hello Community,

The second UMGL Night Cup starting.
The Night cup with Double Elimination System will be played on Sunday the 25.09.2011.
The tournament is for 16 teams! The deadline for the SIGNING UP PHASE is 17:00 o clock on sunday.
The matches will be published at 18:00 o clock and first matches starting at 19:00 o clock.

Winnerbracket:
In the first Round the map Strom_b4 will be played,
second round Aleutian,
third round Muhle_b2 and in the final round we will play Railroad2_b2.

Loserbracket:
In the first Round the map Anzio will be played,
second round Lennon_b2,
third round Harrington, fourth round Cal_Sherman2,
fith round Solitude_b2 and in the final round we will play Railroad2_b2.
(if it is necessary the winner will be determined in a second Finalmatch, on the Map Donner)

2x15 minutes playing time per map
Please use the UMGL League Config!

The players have to aplly the UMGL Rules
