Jobs, Apple Co-Founder and Visionary, Is Dead

Image

Had the rare chance to meet him last year, surprised he lasted as long as he did, quite the fight he went out with.

Don't know if any of you guys were fans, but he was a pretty remarkable dude. RIP.

Any word on whether he donates some of his $8 billion? He has never been a public philanthropist, and I don't think he's even suspected of being an anonymous one. Hope he does something good for others with that cash :X

Guy revolutionized an industry. RIP indeed.

Hate Apple and how they're exploiting a broken patent system, but I respect SJ for revolutionizing the industry

At least he stayed alive long enough to see the 4S solidify Apple's position behind Google in the mobile arena

Swiss I was totally about to post that same video. :( damnit!

It sucks he was lost. I enjoyed listening to his speeches, quite entertaining and motivating.

Surprisingly enough the stock hasn't dropped at all since the anouncement: http://www.google.com/finance?client=ob&q=NASDAQ:AAPL

This guy is the epitome of the "American Dream". Start in your parents garage and create a capitalist empire from the ground up. Too bad there's too many politicians trying to erase these types of dreams...

Edit: And oh, in before "everything is made from dreams/bushes".

This pretty much sums it up, he did wonders for technology in general, but Macs just kill me inside every time I see one's price tag and specs the average person never uses. Their advertising and marketing just catches people up so well with the "it's cool to have a Mac" bug, making the GUI and everything about them flashy and dumbed down.

Haha, I didn't say specifically which parties, but I'm sure there's some politicians in every party that would like to do this. You have so many politicians that say they're part of this party or believe in that, only to be lying to get into office. Been like this since I can remember...
