At one point you publicly quit your team. Rather dramatically and enthusiastically. Whether you were the one who asked to join or not is irrelevant as you were complacent. You accepted the offer to rejoin after your dramatic exit as you ended up in-game with them again. What? A few days/a week after quitting?
