Hey, I just wanted to introduce myself. I played back in the days for Royal 22e régiment (the French-Canadian team) but I was an idiot back then and I left them to continue playing CS at a higher level.
I restarted playing DOD a few weeks ago but I was not aware of this community until recently so I played DOD:S instead because pubbing got boring fast enough in 1.3 and there's still a small league going on for DODS, so I was able to play a few 12mans/matches.
Anyway,I pretty much don't know anybody in this community except a few usernames I've seen in some frag movies. I will probably try and find a team to play next season (Rifle btw) so I'm open to suggestions. I would need someone to refresh me with calls/spots name because I remember a few of them and it's in French.
welcome (back) to 1.3 There's a vent that we all pretty much use to 12 man in called XM vent. If you look around the forums, you can find the info. It would be impolite of me to give it out since i don't pay for it ^_^ Everyone says the same calls, you can pretty much pick up everything you need from 12 mans.
Feel free to bring 5 other source players and make your own team. We have three divisions, so you won't get rocked. I was going to make a source team at the beginning of your last season, but saw you guys only have 1 division so that stopped me dead in my tracks.

Thanks for the welcome! I'll see if anyone is interested but I think competitive Source players are becoming even more rare than 1.3 players. And yeah, since we don't have many team we can only make 1 division so newbs always get knocked out. :/

EDIT: I found the vent info but everytime I try to connect I get an error. Maybe my password is wrong I dunno.
6 source players could probably come over to 1.3 and be competitive pretty quick. They would surely be able to win the lowest division after getting used to the game for a little while.
Well I made a thread there asking if some of them would be interested in forming a team. I'll see if it brings interest there. Another player already want to play with me and he will ask switch (ex cal-i player in dod 1.3 I heard, not sure if this is true) if he's interested so we would already be 3.
I don't think switch was ever invite. I used to play against him like every three weeks when he was on some french team (I think it was like P08 or something).
If you are going to form a team make sure you guys will actually stick with a season. Really fucks things up in TPG when teams die in the middle of the season.
