XIM3

Post by scottglass »

Has anyone tried the XIM3 for xbox 360? I hear its the best mouse/keyboard adapter out there. I sold my gaming PC a while back so instead of building a new one I plan on just getting this.

Oh nothing. I returned to DoD about 9 months ago after a ~2 year break. Probably have another season or two in me before I move off for grad school (hopefully), in which case I will officially retire forever since I probably won't be bringing my desktop with me.

I guess I could have summed it all up by saying, "living the dream."

I'm on Attack of the Killer Koalas. No championships, but I did just get a draft ring (basically one big ass 12man where there are ~8 captains who pick teams, and we have a double elimination tourney).

Glad to hear you're making a comeback :D I'll message you my ventrilo - it's the main vent these days.

a draft ring is basically something you pull out of a cereal box.

hmm i guess youre right. even if he actually got one of those high quality rings with the little sapphire jewel from the 50 cent dispenser then i guess it would have only been worth 50 cents......

so the lesson out of all of this: cant put a price on luck.

Tbh, I'm honestly considering getting one.. Had looked into these a while ago, and there didn't seem like there were any credible ones at the time. The thing can be used w/ a PS3 as well, which makes it more enticing if you have both systems.

Yeah, I did a lot of research and just happened to stumble on this. I've read nothing but great reviews about it. Mine should be here by Friday, so I'll give my input shortly after.

I got my xim3 today, and I have to say, this thing is LEGIT.

My Kill/Death ratio on Black Ops was about .70 and I sucked BAD with the control.

My first game on Black Ops (getting MW3 for xmas) I went 20-8. This feels exactly like playing a PC game. XIM3 is for real, I highly recommend it.

I would just feel bad if I went anything lower than that knowing I had a technological advantage

Lol it's not that "middle-of-nowhere" .. It's like 30 minutes from Dallas. Middle-of-nowhere would be Texas Tech in Lubbock.

Yeah I work in Dallas.

Denton isn't too bad, I have very vague memories of a hookah lounge that was lit up by 100% black lights and a zebra painted building that was a head shop, i think?

Lubbock... lol... as I recall TT has one of, if not the highest STD rates in the country. That's what happens when there's nothing to do, apart from beer drinking and sticking anything that moves.
