Not sure if what clan i was in as i read this, but i did enjoy my times as [RUNS]withaPinecone, or if it after this, anyways, I miss errick and JazZy and dane morrision & 2popular2stopular scott fleener. #CLAN.NME represent. I was reading this as it was storming. WAYBACKMACHINE.oRG

Also, this was when the game was at the best, 02-06 years, imo. I quit after CPL and dod:s came out, but still, good read for fun sakes. Sad i remember most of these clans. Anyways, POST ON 1911.ORG MORE NEWBIES.

Y HALO THAR ONCE AGAIN THE CAL-M PREDICTIONS

Six teams have been moved down to open for being newbies leaving 44 teams(including a couple dead teams gg cal) to make up 22 matches.

The map this week will be dod_railroad

dod_railroad:
This is a favorite map of 3.1 made by the sexiest of norgiemen Instachrome. This map(unlike fgtkalt) rewards strong rushing and attacks rather than lame boyscouting. This map will prove who the real men in cal-m are and who the little faggots are.

Winners=Cyan+Underlined
Losers=Red

3xtreme Humiliation vs Plan-B Gamers
This could be a very good match or a very poor game. My hope is that Plan-B practices hard and makes a good strat so they don't get completely rolled by 3h. 3h has them in terms of pure ability and knowledge but Plan-B practices alot harder than 3h. gl on wednesday Plan-B you'll definately need it.

Arstechnicia Pwning Squad vs Pound You
I honestly dunno who will win this. Pwn. can be good and pwn. can be terrible. #U is just plain terrible. If pwn. can bring even 50% of their ability they should have this, but I'm not counting on anything.

-k- will rape GDF Zug and that is the end of it.

Sucks At DoD vs FoKKeRs
SaD is pretty good at dod and FoK lost Nate(who was annoying) and BuFu(who is sechsy). If giR` continues to carry FoK then it could be close but I'm not gonna be generous here.

Unofficial Software Distribution Network vs Rolling On The Floor Laughing
USDN using their leet lan ping server should be able to rape poor little ROFL. ROFL is without Pignazi and the other people who left to form some other newbie cal-o 4 life clan and USDN has had the same roster for 11 years. Also in 3.1 my old clan NmE beat ROFL by 1200 on rr so that can't be a good sign.

UnKnown Killerz vs Butt Naked Gamers
Worst name in cal-m vs worst tag in history! uKz should rape and pillage the virgin anuses of BnG in a manner similar to that of Gengis Khan(correct my spelling and die). The score however could be variable.

uKz by 350+ if Vegeta doesn't play and uKz records demos
uKz by 500+ if Vegeta plays and uKz doesn't record demos

Red White and Blue clan vs 11th Bravo
RWB picked up Chewiealf from 63rd and WHO is a beast. As a plus they created an open squad to cut down on their 200 person roster. 11b allowed GDF Zug 2 to get almost 500 points on them on kalt. That is not a good sign for them. RWB will de_stroy them in an orderly fashion.

Rangers Baker Company vs iMooGamers
RBC has a roster that is deep with starters. This match will prove that they are one of the top teams in cal-m if they can field their power roster. iMoo hasn't impressed me at all and this week will be no different.

Final Solution vs Senatus Stupidus Namus
[fs] has a few good players and that is all they need to beat SPQR. I highly doubt that [fs] even needs to practice for this one.

Llama Patrol vs DoD Gangstas
~G~ lost to uKz by 500 last week on kalt. I dunno the circumstances(demos) but that is a huge number for kalt. LP won their match vs a strong necro team and therefore get the nod here.

Da NiNjA vs Gimme French Fry
Da NiNjA will KILL GFF on railroad. Da NiNjA will be one of the better teams in cal-m once they get into a groove.

5th Ranger Battalion vs 38th Infantry Platoon
38th lost to IAM...lemme repeat that. 38TH LOST TO IAM If you can't beat IAM on kalt what hope do they have of beating 5th RB? The answer is absolutely none.

Not predicting sAs|pd vs DSSGC because their names are too long and I'm already running late on these predictions.

MATCH OF THE WEEK
Runs Up Nasty Scores vs Dirty Ghetto Fucks
Cope_ says that dgf is fucking horrible and I say that this match will be _VERY_ close. RUNS has trouble fielding six and with smallfry+fluffy_bunny being suspended that won't help the situation. dgf has a few quality players but if DC has a huge game it will be the decider. This in theory if it isn't an ff should be the best match of the night.

Score: RUNS by less than a cap.

Necrophiliacs vs Sterling
I predicted Necro to win last week and they lost. I predicted them to lose in preseason and they won. They will break this stupid stupidity they've been pulling and crush STR. STR is a middle-of-the-road cal-m clan but Necro has the magic stick.

New Century Gamers vs sharp shooters
The battle for the basement. Two of the more terrible clans in cal-m facing off in an epic battle of terribleness. NCG has been around for a LONG time so the chemistry is there. They just can't shoot for shit. ss is terrible.

DiNk vs Phenix
I'm never predicting p|x to win and with half of eG's cheaters on their roster p|x has to hope North doesn't play. If North plays prepare for a cal-conspiracy in which all of p|x gets banned from cal and I do a happy dance.

wtf SRP stop being gay please give TAU a challenge.

Online gaming is the world of contacts. Your parents say you're wasting your time playing games online. Are they right? I don't think so. I've made some topnotch contacts in the online world and business world here.

DOD is just the latest example of what one can do in the REAL WORLD. You can meet people here that you never would have otherwise. Forge alliances, build companies, make some money, and make an impression on the world. Where else but the net do you have such an opportunity.

Keep in mind, how DoD is just a formality, a lot of fun though, but real life is what counts. You are better off making friends than enemies. The guy who burns bridges is the guy who falls off and drowns 'cause his feet get smoked.

There are mad opportunities to meet people you can work with in this mod. Everyone has a gold mine in their head. Just takes two to mine it.

So I say, talk about real life stuff when you're not planning strategies for DoD. Get to know each other. Build a real team, for life. Combine talents to make a business that supports the online gaming community.

Remember, the guys who made this mod that we all enjoy, aren't making anything real cash wise, until it goes public. It is up to us to make the community that sustains online gaming. We are the future of DoD, and the future of online gaming in general.

So why waste the opportunity this forum has presented? Contact your buddy in Canada, while you're in the USA, and make something happen. Build a network, start an accounting firm, build some ready-made houses, etc. We make the world go round.
