Fucking giants had to make their field goal...

I would have really liked to have seen Pats play the niners... What a shame.

It's funny how football is called the "ultimate team sport" except when it comes time to throw a kicker under the bus.

I definately wanted to see Brady get another shot at the Giants.
2 guys lost the game for the ravens, 1 guy lost the game for the niners, twice.
Did you hear what Ray Lewis said? It's not one player or one play. He told his kicker to keep his head up high.

I agree. The first play is just as important as the last play or as a play with 3:00 left in the 2nd quarter. Nobody played mistake free.

It's because the perception is that you have one job, so you should be able to do it well. It's not like they're reading defenses or reacting to a dynamic situation. It's a single, routine motion.

Among the four teams, worst possible combination for me in the Super Bowl.

Are you Harbaugh's mom~ ;)

The league is loving it. New York vs "Boston". Brady vs Eli. Rematch of 2007.

Shane Graham did the same thing to the Bengals under "high stress" FGs. This is an every Sunday expectation as a Bengals fan.

I share the burden. Being a Bengals fan rarely pays off.

Im glad with the results.

God i cant imagine the coverage if the results went the other way. There would of been 2 week non stop coverage on the harbaruagh family..

As opposed to a 2 week non stop coverage of the Manning Family and the Brady/Belichick??

Hmm listening to coverage about arguably two of the best quarter backs to play the game? Still sounds a lot more interesting than "And now its time for a sit down for the harbaugh family "

Meh, the media will always find something to obsess over. I like Brady (Obviously, he came from UofM), and I've started to like Manning over the years so I won't be too annoyed. At least they get coverage for how good they are, rather than Tebow who gets coverage because he's a celebrity who just gets ratings.

However, the Harbaugh story is still pretty cool anyways. How often do two brothers from the same family basically reach the peak of their profession...any profession? IE there's only 30 NFL headcoaching jobs in the world. Not only did they just get one of these jobs, but they've come in and done well very early in their careers. It's pretty interesting--to me anyways.

It is not that I wanted Harbaugh/Harbaugh, I did not want re-tred storylines.

Stupid media will push the rematch from four or five years ago and the Pats revenge when, in reality, there are maybe twenty players on both teams combined who played in that Super Bowl.

Both head coaches are boring.

Both quarterbacks are boring. I'll give Eli a little love for his preseason "elite" interview and Brady love for Gizelle, but other than that, bleh.

Best storyline for either team is that the Giants' best WR didn't make the team last year.

Many, many better storylines for the 49ers than the Giants and more storylines for the Ravens than the Pats.

The two better teams are playing, but as a fan not the ones I wanted to listen people discuss for two weeks ad nauseum.
