I crouch hop to get over most ledges instead of jumping. It's never once caused a glitch like that. Plus, as everyone keeps saying, the sounds don't skip and that's one of the two key things in this glitch. No recoil, and no gun sounds.

Umm, those are facts from my opinion. Im just guessing you didnt read that carefully. lag internet wise was what I meant however. It would happen on my wireless connection when my roomies were watching netflix and I would spike up and down while netflix was bufferring - this caused me to receive the glitch on numerous occasions.

Well as long as we're listing possibilities, might as well toss out the chance that an earthquake occurred while ceebz was playing and the earth shook in such a way where it corrected ceebz' imperfect recoil control by offsetting the mouse movement, making it appear perfect.

Think of the scope glitch. It only happens under certain circumstances. Do you ever just get the scope glitch without certain events taking place? It's not random like you are saying. You aren't just sitting there with a sniper rifle when suddenly, bam, scope glitch! Certain factors have to be in place for these glitches to happen.

Those circumstances were not in place based on what everyone is saying. There are things going on in that clip which illustrate that. Yet you keep clinging to the hope that a glitch occurred with the justification of, "what if" or "well maybe..."

The point I'm trying to make it simple: certain glitches occur only when certain circumstances are in place. Ceebz' clip did not show those circumstances, thus the glitch couldn't occur.

I've experience it after reloading and after picking up a gun on occasion. I do think in general throughout the movie there is very little recoil. In fact, I really only noticed a lack of recoil control during the very short soiltude clip. Now, i know some heavies are very good at controlling their recoil and it's usually those who are the best in the game. I think ceebz gets a bad rap in this community because he's really unknown by some of the people who have been around a long time. I would really love an upload of that demo though(haven't read entire thread sorry if that has been discussed)

Demos are much more helpful than movie clips, but the problem with anti-recoil is that it's almost impossible to prove beyond a reasonable doubt (and therefore ban someone), especially if they are good at using whatever they are using.

I'm not saying ceebz should be banned because of these movie clips, all I've said is that it's firmly lead me to believe that he is most likely using something.

I think I banned maybe one person for anti-recoil in 2 years as CAL AC, and that was for totally screwing up during pre-game of a 12 man. But, there were countless of others that I absolutely believe that they were. But if you can't prove it beyond any reasonable doubt you cant ban them. Ceebz shouldn't be banned for this, bet he should expect his demos to be pulled every week by default.

If it happened every time by just scoping in, it wouldn't be random. However, as clearly stated several times, there is a precise process to get the glitch to happen. Therefore,

Now, I don't know anything about configs, but from what I've read in this thread by people who do, you can exec them and turn them on/off throughout the course of the game. If this is correct, wouldn't it suggest that the script was only being used at specific moments and not for the entire demo?

I've played the game since it was downloadable for beta. You can't kill someone with a bar from a block and a half away. That gun goes straight up!





Some things never change. Player gets accused, suspended or banned for cheating. They are usually annoying and disliked. Highly respected teams and players agree and present their opinion based on the evidence. Then, on the other side, you have every shady or stupid person saying "lulz you just mad cuz u got bested. My friend/team member would never cheat, trust me, I'm unbiased".

Why is no one acknowledging the proof that if his game glitched at all giving him no recoil he should have pulled down and massively over corrected. But instead his crosshair went up as soon as he finished firing indicating he was done engaging a target and shifted his focus.

The greatest part about this post is it illustrates that you still have no idea what we're talking about. Our entire point has gone right over your head after a few pages of explanation.

His purpose wasn't to give a fucking tutorial on how to get it. We have been explaining how you have to do certain things for the scope glitch to occur, and glitches =/= totally random; they independent of other factors. Similar to the norecoil glitch which you were championing as a major potential defense for ceebz.

Again: the noscope glitch is being mentioned here as to explain how the norecoil glitch is not a rational defense. That is the point. Stop looking at the noscope glitch as its own issue here; it's tying into the point we are making.
