Looking at something objectively isn't anti-American. If you had any sort of critical thinking skill or ability to research, you would be able to see the situation for what it is.

The people sent to give them aid would be shot at before we Even got close enough to give it. I'm curious why you care so much about Iran... Do you regular donate to their people? Do you contribute anything to better our country? Or do you just spout anti American non cited quotes on forums.
Well, I wouldn't be able to give them aid, considering the U.s lead sanctions. But no, I don't have any particular interest in helping the people of Iran. I would want to help people anywhere. I thought, as you claimed, the Navy's mission was to do the same, without motive. But...I guess that mission doesn't apply to the MILLIONS of civilians dying in Iraq for the last few decades. Or the people who will be dying soon because the Iranian currency lost 40% of its value. Too bad they weren't lucky enough to be born in Singapore where they would have been helped without motive.

Also, do you think there's a reason why Iranians hate Americans so much? Like, why didn't they hate us in the year 1900?

Actually I just don't give a shit about Iran after being chemically attacked by them while providing air support for our troops in Iraq in 2007. I'm pretty single minded on the subject. My point is you have no idea what's really going over there. Yes we are an offensive force in the Gulf, but never did we do anything to provoke an attack except covertly destroying their economy. Which I'm sure you have proof from an unknown source showing how it's 100% our fault. Done.
Yeah, where did the Iraqi's get those chemical weapons from anyways? Oh, yes, when we funded and armed them in their war against the Iranians in the 80's. See, it's a fun game we like to play. Arm and fund both sides...to make the war more bloody and costly. Only one side wins. Us.
According to reports of the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs of the U.S. Senate, the United States sold chemical weapons, including anthrax, VX nerve gas, West Nile fever and botulism to Iraq until March 1992. The chairman of the Senate committee, Don Riegle, said: "The executive branch of our government approved 771 different export licences for sale of dual-use technology to Iraq. I think its a devastating record."[49] In 2000, U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright expressed regret for that support.

Oh, the old I don't know what's going on. But you do. Yep. I don't play NHL hockey, but that doesn't take away from my ability to research and analysize it. I have a very good understanding of the game. That's not an actual arguement to say, "oh, you aren't here".

All we did was economically attack them? Well, gee, wouldn't that be enough? Then again, we have splattered the brains of several scientists with cia agents, have been flying planes in their territory as well. What if those things were happening in the United States?

Also, you act like what's happening now is the only thing in our relationship. There's a list 10 miles long of things that have happened between the United States and Iran over the last 50 years. I could educate you, but you'd probably dismiss it.

I mean, here's a good one.
On July 3, 1988, near the end of the Iran–Iraq War, the U.S. Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes shot down Iranian Airbus A300B2, which was on a scheduled commercial flight in Iranian airspace over the Strait of Hormuz. The attack killed 290 civilians from six nations, including 66 children. USS Vincennes was in the Persian Gulf as part of Operation Earnest Will. The United States initially contended that flight 655 was a warplane and then said that it was outside the civilian air corridor and did not respond to radio calls. Both statements were untrue, and the radio calls were made on military frequencies to which the airliner did not have access.[63] According to the Iranian government, the attack was an intentional and unlawful act. Iran refused to accept the idea of mistaken identification, arguing that this constituted gross negligence and recklessness amounting to an international crime, because the aircraft was not on a trajectory that threatened the Vincennes and had not aimed radar at it.[64] The United States has expressed regret for the loss of innocent life but has not apologized to the Iranian government

Now, the monster that we have created, has the keys to destroy the American economy at a very difficult time already in a way that 99% of Americans do not understand. Of course, we don't want them to do that, and will use any amount of force to ensure that it does not happen. As you can hopefully see by recent events, the U.s and our allies (France, UK, Germany) are doing full sanctions on Iran to prevent the sale of their oil because they refuse to sell it in dollars. There's really two options for Iran. Save their economy by accepting dollars again, or war with the United States and Israel.----then again, there's a third option: Build nuclear weapons and be free from the threat of invasion.

The line has been drawn in the sand.

What's yet to be seen, is whether China and Russia will be foolish enough to actually stand in the way in a meaningful way, because of course they have been attacking dollar hegemony for quite some time, but their ally Iran has the power to do the real damage.

We often hear the phrase, "Saved by WWII" when talking about the Great Depression and the 1930s. Back then, the world was in disarray, based on economic constraints rooted in WWI reparations, the expansion and bursting of the stock market, and worldwide abject poverty.

Saved by a war that cost 60 million lives? What was the option? The starvation of the poorest had begun in Eastern Europe, and revolution was in the air in the United States. No one can contemplate the extent of the disaster that is coming now, since we don't conceptualize WWII as being caused by economics.

Perhaps it's time to promote this explanation, so it would be clearer just what kind of a precipice we are now looking over.

Are you in the military Reh? No? then shut the fuck up.

The media doesn't report what's going on cause there's this thing called OPSEC (operational security) so they have no clue whats actually going on, I'm in a forward deployed fleet (7th fleet) were getting ready for shit the media isn't reporting on cause they don't know, so you can keep posting your little youtube links and other bullshit media sites thinking you know whats going on when you have no fucking clue, dullumis jr.

What does being in the military have to do with being able to objectively evaluate a situation? It doesn't.
The media doesn't report what's going on cause there's this thing called OPSEC (operational security) so they have no clue whats actually going on
The Pentagon learned after the Vietnam war that wars can be lost in the media by destroying the American will to fight. Which is why now everything is managed with non front line "war correspondants". It's basically a big marketing campaign. "Managing the living room war". You could research it, but you'd rather sit in ignorance and tell people to shut up who disagree with you.
so you can keep posting your little youtube links and other bullshit media sites thinking you know whats going on when you have no fucking clue, dullumis jr.
and you keep being brainwashed into a single point of view, instead of considering things from both sides.

That "little you tube video" is a BBC documentary, and the man talking is an ex CIA agent, with a PHD out of Cal Berkley speaking from declassified documents. The events that happened are pretty basic history that is researchable just about anywhere, if you wanted to pull your head out of the clouds. It's fact, not a "conspiracy".

Oh, and the "bullshit media sites" I posted....were quotes from the AP. They're direct statements from officals within the Iranian and American government.

You aren't very smart to be honest. You make a good pawn to be molded.

It's not a matter to be american or anti american. What Reh is trying to say is that USA uses its influence and military approach to get what the government wants, be it oil, water or other natural resources. The thing is, this action come by the cost of billions paid from tax payers. And spending such a considerable amount at the expense of public and accessible health insurance and/or schollarships to students is really something to think about. The mass don't seem to care about this, general public only look in to it when one of their sons return home crippled - phisically and/or psychologically - or even dead.

Dear Reh, please: man up man! Iran isn't the nicest country the world. Canada's never been attacked by terrorists because they respect human rights instead of prosecuting someone with medieval actions such as burying the person in to the ground and let people throw rocks on his/her head. Also, the country ia also ran by a goddamn lunatic, who seem to not respect sales.contracts when he says that he would close the Hosmuz straight.

Gosh, now I know why I don't read Reh's posts. Thinking out of the box proves that you know what is really happening in the world outside but for Christ's sake, as much this is a random section, this a DoD forum! You won't find much people interested in discussing this in a WWII theme game forum for nerds who like drama in the same proportion thry like to troll.

That being said I publicly promise that I won't be replying these kind od posts with a content other than a dancing midget.

They threatened to close the straight of Hormez because we have completed sanctions to prevent them from selling their oil to ANYONE. Iran is rejecting the pedro dollar financial system where the U.s dollar is backed by the value of Opec's oil reserve, instead of gold. So, the U.s government is saying "take our unlimited paper for your REAL resources or you aren't going to sell to anyone". They are saying "fuck you, if you don't let our oil pass through the straight, no ones oil is going to". We moved in our navy to let them know that will not happen. So, the choice is simple really. Bleed to death internally because their currency is going to be useless, attack the U.s, or switch back to the petro dollar standard and stay under our thumb..
Iran isn't the nicest country the world.
Of course Iran is a terrible country. But...those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

The United States is involved in some of the greatest atrocities in the history of the world. Slaughtering a group of people and taking a continent, slavery, and using nuclear weapons on two cites. Fire bombing cities. Sanctions that have starved millions. Americans like to just pretend like we have no history before monday morning. Currently, we run an empire that has turned the entire globe into colonies where by we print dollars, and we get everyone's national resources. It's a lesson we learned from the British empire. You never take direct ownership, because the people will rebel. We take indirect ownership of their national wealth. Essentially, America lives off the backs of the rest of humanity.

If you were to list the invasions, CIA overthrows, ect that the United States has engaged in vs....what Iran has engaged in, you might reconsider who the threat is, and who's "crazy".

The more I see, the more I think you all deserve the fate that is coming at an ever accelerating rate with the collapse of the American hegemony.

most of its not conspiracy though... we have been doing the exact same thing since ww1.

Lusitania, Pearl Harbor, etc all happened because we push and push a country till they feel they have no choice. we dont give them an option B that is remotely acceptable to them, so they take the only option they can see as acceptable.

we have been doing it to Iran now for years. we push and push with sanctions and threats until Iran finally feels they can not do anything else, then they attack. they know they will lose, we know they will lose. how much damage they do before that happens is anyone's guess.

they dont want our option A, and we arent giving them an option B that is acceptable to them.

None of it.
history must be lost on you.
Of course it's because they read their social studied book in 3rd grade and think countries just attack us for no reason. You're absolutely right about Japan. We cut their rubber and oil off....and their only way to survive the stranglehold was to attack the American fleet stationed at Pearl Harbor. Then again, we had already been shipping supplies to the axis enemies for years anyways so our "neutrality" was a farce to begin with.
Posting for you to read a second time
And yet, you came back again. I normally don't click on threads, I'm not interested in. Moosh only stopped "caring" once I ran circles around him with facts.

What America fears more than an Iranian atom bomb is the erosion in the attractiveness of the US dollar as the world's most influential currency.

America has little to point to these days as a self-proclaimed super power and champion of human rights. Almost all of America's influence in the world is predicated on her ability to destroy anyone that dares to stand up to her self-interests. But, outside of her military, the USA is a declining power. However, the American people can still point with (false) pride to their "almighty dollar" and dream grandiose dreams of being a world leader.

Knock down the almighty dollar, and America people will soon understand that they have very little to back up her claims to being "great", except their ability to spread death and destruction throughout the world.

The Rome Empire had the greatest military force in the world during the first two centuries of first millennium, and yet declined into a wasteland of darkness and chaos. Why? Because, the Roman military was incapable of sustaining the unsustainable. The same fate awaits the United States of America whose ability to interact with other nations has been reduced to threats, embargoes and military attacks.

Knocking the almighty dollar from the pinnacle of world currencies, will hasten America's decline, and that is something the powers in America cannot accept.

Give em' hell in the Gulf Moosh and IMG. Maybe I can understand what's like to be a glorious freedom fighter like you someday.

Instead of banning people, why not just take away their ability to make threads or minimize their comments in threads? That worked fine on gotfrag. I don't see the reason in excluding a person from the major outlet of communication for the DOD community just because of what they say.

then why the fuck are you hating on him for no reason? if your not even gonna read the thread, why the fuck are you acting like hes being a horrible person? because he disagrees with moosh and img? the fuck?

and yes that was insinuating he was dullimus with his posting and thoughts. you agreed with that, hence you indirectly insulted him personally.

btw, stamp pissed lots of people off, not 1 person.

I'll run through it, step by step:

1) I saw two things: Reh posting giant walls of text page after page, arguing with every person and img say dullumis jr. I found it amusing. Thus, I used the powers of these crazy forums and posted my first post.

2) I saw moosh say, "because no one here gives a fuck or wants to debate with a WALL of conspiracy." I like moosh and agree with that statement. Hence, post two.

3)
Reh wrote:Give em' hell in the Gulf Moosh and IMG. Maybe I can understand what's like to be a glorious freedom fighter like you someday.
Obnoxious post requires obnoxious response -->

I can't believe I actually offered advice before to someone so incapable of actually using it~
He begins with the personal attacks...and now he's banned. As I said before, I don't think he'll be missed.

No, it's an internet forum for a video game. I can do whatever I please. Same way you can get angry over something as silly as some random person getting banned.

Unbanned Reh. If Sears has a problem with it, he can obviously reban. But I don't think Reh is worthy of being banned simply because people disagree with him.

He's not being an obnoxious troll, or simply trying to get a rise out of people. He has an opinion, and he's supported it. If people don't like it, refute it.
