Listen up fellow gamers!

Eagle League is reforming!

You heard right. The people who brought you the original Eagle League, that ran the first 13 seasons, have reformed. We are opening a new chapter in DoD classic history.

Everything is already in place, except one thing … you!

We have our Eagle rules posted. We have config’s ready to be issued. We have our dedicated forums set up at a brand new address. We have old faces and new faces. We have old maps and hopefully some new ones too.

That’s right. We are looking for teams of 7 to join us. You can bring in your clan or form an ad hoc team.

Acceptance is based on a first-come basis. As you know, Eagle works in blocks of 4 teams, and we are only looking for a limited number of teams.

We’ll also be bringing back Eagle trios, and teams that participate in Eagle 7’s will get first dibs on the limited team slots.

You should check us out even if you don’t plan on participating in the first season. You never know what old faces you’ll see in the forums.

We have received additional apps from high-skilled teams, so we have decided to make Eagle League a two tier competition league: Eagle and Phoenix.

Eagle seasons will remain the same, with the rules and standards we already have. This is basically our lower division.

We are adding "Phoenix competitions" as a NEW upper division and Phoenix will be TOTAL WAR. Top skilled players, including dream teams like TMNT are welcome. Phoenix will allow more power weapons, no LTH, weapon pickups encouraged and other total war rules.

Since this is last minute, we may need help creating some of the Phoenix materials. If anyone wants to help create season 1 configs for Phoenix please contact the VMF CLAN at http://blacksheepclan.clanservers.com/

We now have two divisions.

Eagle Division is for sportsmen who want old school courtesy, and emphasis on having fun while you game.

Phoenix Division is full throttle, total war. Ultimate competition with as few rules as possible. For example, weapons limits are very open, so you can choose your power weapon. Also, shooting and nading spawn is perfectly legal. Phoenix Division is about winning and glory. Period.
