So were you cheating or not? It sure sounds like you were cheating. League bans are IP bans to prevent smurfing anyway, so you should probably make sure other idiots on your connection aren't cheating if you don't want to be banned.

If you think I was cheating then prove it. I havent cheated since early early summer before my computer crashed and I doubt they were from that long ago. So probably not, most of the admins say they have this demo (not saying you dont) but it turns heads but you cant tell, good calls, good shots or cheating. I more or likely got banned because Stamp did. Case closed, dumb rules (which they arent on the rules, neither is disrespecting an admin)

I understand the concern but I know if it happened to anyone else the other player would be watched not banned.

There is no real loss to the community from banning you, just as there is no real gain from unbanning you.

Stamp cheated and got banned. Steamid is banned. IP is logged and also banned. You both share an IP therefore you will also be banned. This is because stamp could easily just go on and play under your account. If NG still lived at home he would get banned too. Don't blame TPG for your brother's actions. He knew the repercussions of cheating and quite frankly didn't give a shit. Same exact thing happened when corey got banned in a pub, ryan was also banned. Except if the blackhawk accounts cheats its problably stamp! Or it could be blackhawk taking advantage of what you think is being stamp cheaitng on his account so blackhawk can cheat all he wants because you will blame stamp!

just for shits and gigs, unban him and make him record himself playing with a web cam, that way we know stamp isn't the one playing.

It's a horrible idea, but I'd love to see if these kids would actually do it in order to play a game.

When I was a young whipper-snapper I didn't cheat, and didn't act like an asshole on the internet, and I've been on teams with a few adolescents and, aside from annoyingly high voices, I didn't know them to be any sort of annoying. This shouldn't be an age thing, and while perhaps we should be giving players the benefit of the doubt, we should maybe reserve that for players who haven't been known for making winky-face laden posts implying that they may be using an outside advantage.

We're not here to parent some fucking kids. Grow up and play the game normal and don't be annoying shits, then the community might be respectful to you. I'm always understanding of new players up until they buy into the whole internet thuglife thing. This statement stands for all players regardless of age.

And for all you people asking to lower the bans, some of us have never cheated and never plan to, and we just plain don't want to play with cheaters. I don't really think that dropping the ban lengths is going to do much to discourage cheating, and keeping cheaters in the community is more likely to drive players out. Also, this whole sharing the demos thing is a silly idea, with poor reasoning of why they should do it. If the AC was a private boys club of internet gestapo looking to keep only their favourite people in the league, I'm pretty sure Flawless would be targeted a whole lot sooner than the Stamper kids. If you want to go watch the demos, apply to become an AC, don't choose yourself as the right candidate for the job only when you have something to gain from it. Show some respect to the individuals putting time into what I would imagine is one of the most boring jobs involved in keeping this dying game alive.

Seriously though. I've sacrificed my capacity to train as I would like to for vocational reasons, and as such I'm nowhere near as strong as I once was. But I still don't have a problem grabbing the 125 dumbbells and hammering through a few sets on the 1 or 2 days a week that I get the chance.
