8 Week Map Rotation 3 playoffs

If you had to choose an 8 week map rotation with 3 weeks of playoffs (no pre) what would your choices be:

Week and Map

Week1 - harrington
Week2 - lennon_b2
Week3 - Railroad2
Week4 - Anzio
Week5 - Donner
Week6 - Chemille
Week7 - Solitude
Week8 - Railroad

RR1 wasn't made for this version of DoD. So personally I would get rid of it and replace it with something else. sherman maybe

I think donner should be week 8 because it can be a big upset map, and hurt peoples feelings going into the playoffs.

I'd agree with switching around the order a bit...maybe put harrington and donner near the end because they are very competitive maps. I cannot stand both railroad and sherman - to me, both maps are garbage....if only there was an alternative.

Looks pretty good Narc. Like the donner @ the end idea. Solitude_b2 is a great map and needs to stay in rotation and railroad is good but sure it could be replaced with something better. Maybe Merderet or Bring Northbound back?

I'd like to see a different finals map than harrington personally, just to switch it up, anzio is always a pretty epic finals match

every season rotate the final 3 to make it between anzio/rr2/harry.

and i like railroad personally but if youre going to replace it pick merderet. solitude and chemille should probably stay in that list as well.

I think it's good but I'd replace solitude with sherman. I think solitude is a truly horrible ill-conceived map. The whole "long" section is basically pointless, the 2 man cap isn't fun at all with the nades, axis barrel room to hole is a nade fest and sucks. Just a bad map. Sherman is also a bit of a nade fest but that's really only off the break.Overall the map is fast paced, balanced, and fun.

It's a classic, but the windows and rails were made for DoD when the POV was higher up. If someone wants to put the time in to fix it, please do. If not, different map and quit bitching about it. <3

I like rr1, but if people want it changed, why not just use solitude? I've heard quite a lot of people asking to play it in 12mans lately. Plus it's a pretty good map!

I think a bridge map should be in the rotation. So maybe take one instance of harrington out of the rotation and put the proper, fixed version of saints (cal_saints or some shit) in the rotation? Other than that I think what you have there is perfect. I have total faith merderet wouldn't win in a vote, so I'm cool with the vote.

dont understand the fascination with harrington. as for the vote map, thats fine, if we don't play harrington/anzio/rr2. they're the best maps, i don't disagree, but when you play the best maps over and over and over it gets somewhat repetitive.

I agree, but I think I would rather have it be repetitive maps then repetitive bitching about maps. I personally would like to see a merderet or decent saints version in the rotation. 3 harringtons in one season, after 3 seasons and 12mans, harrington will overwhelm me personally. So I guess the question is what version of merderet or what version of saints.

Sherman, Chemille, muhle, Solitude, Anzio, Lennon_b2, saints, Donner, Railroad2, Harrington should all be included in the rotation.

Saints is a pretty fun map. There are a few spots that are kinda whack on the axis side, but it's much better than rr1 or sherman.

Take out RR1, it's a good map and all but the size of boxes and all that good stuff don't make it work out as well anymore (Hence RR2)

I'd probably put sherman in as the replacement
