Griffin or Lin
Who would you rather have on your team?
And yes I realize these two guys don't play the same positions but seriously.

You get Mullins and Laettner for not being specific. But I agree that Griffin is better, who else is going to do this?bonerhaus wrote:any two from the '92 dreamteam.Sears wrote:Stockton and Malone

I'll take Blake just based on turnovers alone.

Re: Griffin or Lin
This^^. Even if you look at some of his assists, quite a few go off the tips of defender's fingers or are nearly picked off. I think he will get better about protecting the ball though as he gets used to the game speed of the NBA and more used to playing PG which isn't his natural position.SKiNnTo wrote:I'll take Blake just based on turnovers alone.

I would have said the same if I hadn't seen the major upset in Space Jam 2006. No one would have picked the Monstars to lose coming into that game, but Jordan and Bugs gave an amazing display of talent and heart.bonerhaus wrote:Swiss wrote:im starting to think this isnt even a serious question. its very clear from space jam that bugs bunny has way more potential, he can pull off CRAZY stuff, doesnt even make sense half the timePUNKYETi wrote:MICHEAL JORDAN OR BUGS BUNNY?

Love until Griffin can become a consistent shooter outside of the pain as well as hit free throws.Stamp wrote:Love or Griffin?

Lebron is the best player in the NBA, so yeah.
Right now I'll still take Kobe, but for the next 5 years it is Durant easily.
Pau is a better player, but Marc seems to be in a better place mentally and is younger, so I guess I'd give him a slight edge.
I assume you refer to Rubio, and he wins that hands down.

Re: Griffin or Lin
I saw Rubio play last night and when he passed the ball to himself under the legs of cousins and threw it up to Griffin for the dunk, and as soon as he did so I thought he was the boss.
Rate John Wall's dunks at the end of the game. But don't include the dunk that never happened because one of Shaq's players stripped the ball.

that still doesnt answer the fundamental question here, joel: Bugs or Jordan?joeledmunds wrote:I would have said the same if I hadn't seen the major upset in Space Jam 2006. i mean, jordan did come in and train bugs and the rest of the team, but i feel like bugs otherworldly ability might overcome the sheer talent of jordan.

You have to remember if jordan could extend his arm like he did at the very end of the game, he has the potential to do anything bugs can do. Add this to his experience to the game and he's unstoppable.
As for all of the other who is better scenarios that stamp gave.... I didn't read... I hate NBA basketball and wish it were locked out. I haven't liked it since jordans reign as #23 for the bulls.

Re: Griffin or Lin
I wouldn't want Linn until he can show he can actually compete like this long-term.
It's "easy" to be a flash in the pan in the pros. The smart players and coaches probably haven't had a chance to break down his tendancies. Once the other team is accutely aware of you, they'll start taking away strengths and make him prove that he can do other things, and/or shows he can continue his strengths despite the specific attention.
Until then, I'll consider him a Tim Tebow. A money making celebrity.

Re: Griffin or Lin
Seriously this comparison is so pointless why on earth would ANYONE pick Lin aside from the Knicks head of marketing pick Lin over Griffin? Here's why:
Lack of sample size
Performance during said sample size(look at his turnover rate.....)
Mike D'Antoni's System(in which any point guard can look good)

Discrediting his good play for lack of sample size in the same breath as you use that statistically insignificant sample to point out his poor turnover rate.Lack of sample size

nice~
The head of marketing wouldn't even pick him. Griffin would be king of New York in a Knicks uniform.Seriously this comparison is so pointless why on earth would ANYONE pick Lin aside from the Knicks head of marketing pick Lin over Griffin?

Re: Griffin or Lin
In all seriousness they were playing the remastered version of Space Jam. If any movie ever deserved the title "remastered" it is this version. Was like watching a whole new movie. I definitely recommend buying that one even if you have the original.
