DoD 3.1b

So k4boom has a friend who would be willing to put a Day of Defeat 3.1 server on his dedicated box.. I figured this would be a lot of fun since its relatively simple to install and play 3.1b.. The only problem is finding the installer (Linux) for his friend to do so? Any help?

Lasts a week? it will be up for whomever and whenever.. This guy has had a server up for dpk for god knows how long.. its awful but its a server..

week or not the server would be around for a while.. dont expect there to be a full server but running around with a group of people time to time would def be fun... 1.3beta id love to see some of the newer players play...

My friend is Vlad from team Prophecy.

He knows how to install it, he's ran servers for multiple games for me.
He just needs the linux files for dod 3.1 not the windows files.

I remember 2-3 years ago we did this and there were actually like 2 dedicated servers. I remember playing in a 32 man server which was close to full and it was alot of fun.

Hey now, It's a big difference between 200 and 300 ping.
And i wish i would have 150 constant, game so easy with 150 ping.

I am not sure if it works or not, but we'll figure it out soon enough I suppose.

Also, I could be wrong, but lately my dedicated box has been better — perhaps this will translate to an improved dod server experience.
