This is a kid who begged me to unban him from 1911, and when I finally did (after months), as per the result of the 1911 poll, he did nothing but make a complete ass of himself at every opportunity.

Oh, no, you misunderstand me. I think I think I've actually asked you before to just go ahead and ban them so that they wouldn't continue acting like fools. They are both semi nice kids but have absolutely no idea how douchey they appear on the internet. I was only pointing out the fact that every thread eventually breaks down to some sort of stamp/blackhawk hating thread. I'm all for banning, as they obviously don't understand the concept of this forum or its role in the community.

(1911 seems to be the equivalent to what gotfrag was for years). if he cheats, and he does, you can ban him from tpg and ban him from your individual game servers... if he is annoying you on vent, ban him from your vent. but imo it is a little unfair to ban him from here if he isnt excessively breaking any forum rules. there are QUITE A FEW douche bags on this site, and i dont see them being banned for it. if they were, sears would have to ban himself. While I understand you're guys perspective of the entertainment value of having Stamp around, please understand that your perspective as a willing participant in the community is different than mine as an organizer. I never intended to, but I've put a lot of time and effort into this site and the community over the last year. And having Stamp around means more work for me, and in general makes the experience far less enjoyable for someone who has to hear about him all the time.

Whether it's people complaining to me about him, or him complaining to me about other people, or him begging me to get unbanned for the 50th time because he's posted something stupid and been auto-neg-banned. When you throw in getting banned for cheating, and then continuing to cheat, and still acting like he still deserves to be here? That just crosses the line for me.

There are very few people who are banned from 1911. The list includes Black Hawk, Stamp, and xone. That's it. I think that's pretty reasonable. I don't have a happy ban trigger and I'm more than happy to let you guys (and girls) be idiots to each other and participate in the trolling myself. But those three just create too much baggage for me to deal with. It inhibits my ability to enjoy putting in actual time and effort on DoD 1.3 in 2012, and if I stop enjoying it, then the site goes away.

That's the nice thing about the size of our community in our swan-song years. Were are small enough that most everyone knows each other, so idiot trolls stick out like popoganda's boner at the kylan stip club. We also have the capacity to police ourselves, something we didn't have back on gotfrag.

There is entertainment value in having Stamp around, but when it gets to the point where it's not worth it, it's really just not worth it.

Just my 2 cents.

We let him play with us after his ban, he cheated blatanly, and admitted it, in his 2nd 12man....I dont care what anyone says, cheaters have no place in this league, they are weak ass pussies, that cant get it done, period. If you feel the need to cheat in a match, 12man, or even pub, its just because you suck and you cant get it done, so you cheat to see what it looks like to actually be good....

Week 1s 16 page preds went over that. I too used to call people out for cheats like a whiner too. Until I recently saw a video made by crank of me on Harrington. Best round I've ever played. Allies half was a twenty minute highlight reel. When I saw the clips with cheats on, it looked like the most blatant thing I've ever seen. I know, because I'm not a sissy, that it was pure legit. But it definitely makes me take a step back, and leave the analyzing of demos to the pros.
