To 3h:

BLT wants to play a makeup match with us.. I'm assuming for Anzio? I think it's a great idea and would probably be a great match.

BLT:

Assuming everyone thinks this is okay, which I'm sure they will. Do you want to play default time on Sunday? 9pm? We could possibly get our match shoutcasted / live streamed since everyone else will most likely be taking the week off.

Thoughts? Comments? Questions?

A Makeup match must involve an FF. BLT did not exist in week 1, and 3H has no FF's to makeup.

Defiance are you posting in an official sense from TPG? I think we kind of all assumed since we played a match in invite, that doesn't count towards our win/loss and since blt didn't have a match that week ( didn't exist ) that we would be able to do a "Make up match" Is that not the case?

we were not going to assume ours was from week 1 or 2 when we didnt exist, matt. Instead we have a LOSS right now from NFC who got moved up which shouldn't be on our record I assume, so us playing a "make-up match" would be for that game that should be erased.

That is RETARDED. Why can't we 'make up' a match we weren't around for? We didn't exist, and 3h was bounced back and forth like Nugz mother at the beginning of the season. For us not to be able to play a make up match is silly. Is anyone else even trying to make up any matches? If not and were unable to make up the anzio week, just dont have a bye week. Because that is pretty stupid.

If we're able to play this make up match I think shout casting it would be awesome. Default time should work for most (if not all) of us. If not im sure we'll be on no later than 10 anyways if you guys needed to play any later.

Yeah, you're not complaining because you lost twice and won once which didn't count against your record. You lost once to 3h btw, who as we all know is in main as well. Not going to go into a discussion about this on the forums though, probably best handled with tpg at the moment.

It's DoD in 2012.

Rules are there so the league has the authority to prevent teams/players from taking advantage of other teams/players.

If that's not whats happening, if no harm is being done, I don't think there is any reason to not allow them to play the match, and in doing so actually does a disservice to the community that the rules never intended.

I submitted a ticket asking if we could play. They said they would discuss it and let us know. That's that. I didn't realize that I needed to submit a ticket or I would have done so in the first place. Everybody just calm it down.

If this is the way it's being done, and we're getting an entire week off for this, the ONLY two teams that can benefit from this are Kevlar Soul and Bad Ass Wankers. There are only 6 teams that even had 1 ff this season, and those are the only two teams that the weeks coincide. Also, just realized one is in IM and one is in O. So, there are ZERO team that can actually use this week.

Well if we can makeup, then there's no reason you can't. I'm confused as to where you think the injustice is here.

I don't see why you think this is some masterful plot against GLOCK or some sort of whine fest. From what I understand, both teams just think this would be a fun thing to do.

For the sake of competitiveness we added an fourth division and moved teams accordingly. I believe we did the best we could given that the 4 divisions scenario came thorough the season instead it's beginning. We had in mind that teams wouldn't be activated from a certain point but in the end we tried to accomodate newly signed teams as fast as possible hence some teams have only 4 results score. I believe teams will continue to roll for the upcoming season so it is likely that we will have way less move ups and downs. I guess we will have a TPG meeting tonight and we will discuss this and the other make up matches very closely.

Lastly: shoutcast us tomorrow, Matt!

I don't think BLT or any team that wasn't in TPG for the first few weeks has the right to make up a match. My roster has changed a lot since the first couple weeks of the season and I wish we could redo my RR2 match against MINO, but we can't.

I can agree with allowing teams like 3h and GLOCK to redo there matches since they were in the league for the first few weeks, were moved up and later moved back down again which were due to the decisions made by the admins. I understand these decisions were for the greater good of the league but the end result is they were placed into a higher division which they were not suited for only to be moved back down.

As for bringing back the competitiveness of the sport, I don't mind seeing teams make up matches they weren't able to play. But that is just my opinion of what is fun and not what is logical and fair.

I honestly don't get what you're saying here. Our roster hasn't changed since we've been in main. One of our losses is against an invite team.
Why does it matter if we were in the league yet or not? I don't get why teams should be punished for this if another team is willing to make up that match with them.
